Ayatollah Hamedani: The West stole and secularized the pure sciences.

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, addressing a  gathering in Tabriz, spoke about the academic service of the Islamic world to all of mankind. He stated: “A look at Islamic history shows that the greatest blessings bestowed upon humanity were gained from the religion of Islam and the school of thought of the Ahl al-Bayt (s).”

His eminence spoke about the dark ages in Europe when the Islamic world was a beacon of academia and sciences. His eminence stated: “There was a time when you could not find a single scholar in all of Europe and what is more astonishing is the non-existence of libraries.”

Touching upon the theft of knowledge in the East, by the West, he stated: “The great Muslim scholars eased the path for progress and rapid development of the Islamic world. History is witness to the enslavement of Eastern scholars by the West. “

He continued: “The West planned the Crusades for the destruction of Islam and the Muslims and after it had been defeated, it entered a different stage in its confrontation. By plundering the libraries and the sciences of the Islamic scholars they created their new civilization.”

“All the sciences were linked to the divine; however, when the West looted that knowledge, they secularized it.”

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani finished by expanding further how the West adulterated the pure sciences. He concluded: “The west took away the efficient cause, which was God, and the final cause, which was service to mankind, from the sciences and limited the sciences to the material cause.”

Thats very nice, unfortunately when some speaks like this and said the same things and are not a scholar some bros misinterpret this and think it is to be against the science in itself and the development of Islamic countries …that’s can lead to a very grave consequences …

  2. And now it’s time that we return to our divine knowledge in every single bit of matter in our daily lives and stop thinking our own resources are weak and that we *must* rely on the west to teach us things. We have to look at life, society, technology etc from an Islamic Perspective and build a better worldwide civilization.
