At the beginning of his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah confirmed that the elections form a national achievement.

“The elections form a major national achievement for the country and for the new presidential tenure, President Michel Aoun, the government, the political forces and the Lebanese people,” he stated.

In parallel, His Eminence hailed the electoral law based on proportionality as better than the majoritarian law.

“The proportional representation law does not lead to the elimination of any party,” Sayyed Nasrallah elaborated, noting that “No one can say that the aim of the electoral law was to exclude him.”

Praising the security situation during the electoral campaign and on the day of elections, he stated: “The security situation was excellent in Lebanon, taking into consideration the regional tensions.

It was stable during the electoral campaigns and on the day of elections.”

Moreover, the Resistance Leader went on to say: “There are Lebanese figures who were supposed to be targeted and the electoral campaigns showed that they can move around the country and in all neighborhoods.”

“Based on the preliminary results, we consider that what we were looking forward to from the beginning of the electoral campaign until the day of elections, was achieved,” he stressed.

On the same level, His Eminence underscored that ” the current Parliament has a strong and balanced presence. It constitutes a strong protection for the strategic choice of the Resistance.”

“The US and some Gulf states tried through rumors to influence the people of the resistance but they failed. Thus, this is a great victory for the resistance- that protects the country’s sovereignty- and its environment,” he clarified.

According to Sayyed Nasrallah, “The composition of the new Parliament is a guarantee to protect the golden equation of the army, people and the resistance. This is a great moral and political victory for the Resistance’s choice that protects the country.”

“They [the rivals] were preparing to win even one Shiite seat to attack the Resistance in its environment,” he said, noting that “the resistance will continue because it has the trust and support of its people and environment.”

In addition, His Eminence viewed that “the high voter turnout was a direct response to those who said that the resistance’s environment was tired.”

He further called for a realistic deal with the results of the elections and to draw lessons and move towards more work.”

“Our call to all political leaders is to calm down and those who want to go to hot speeches seek sedition in the country,” Sayyed Nasrallah stressed, pointing out that “the resistance’s environment has acted with great national and Jihadi responsibility for the national project as a whole.”

In addition, he affirmed that “Beirut’s Arab identity will be confirmed in the light of the elections results. Beirut will remain the main supporter of the resistance.”

At the end of the speech, His Eminence thanked the families of the martyrs who saved the blood of their loved ones as well as the elder people.

“We are determined on living together and on our alliances away from the loss of Hezbollah candidate in Jbeil Sheikh Hussein Zaiter,” he stated, noting that praising the great popular presence of men and women in all regions, especially the steadfastness of people in Baalbeck-Hermel rally

For all the parliament members, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “This is not a position this is a responsibility in front of God first and second in front of people who gave you their trust and you must prove you are worthy of this trust.”
