Only yesterday we reported on protests against the War on Gaza that had flooded the streets of Jerusalem\u00a0with thousands of protesters. Jews and Muslims marched side-by-side in support of civilians in Gaza, and yet the vast majority of the corporate, mainstream media completely ignored this story.<\/p>\n

Later yesterday, Neo-Fascist\u00a0Kahanist members of the \u201cJewish Defense League\u201d (classified as \u201ca right-wing terrorist group\u201d by the FBI in 2001), showed up in Haifa to form a right-wing\u00a0violent\u00a0<\/em>demonstrations against an anti-war protest where\u00a0Israeli Defense Forces veterans read testimonies of their service in the Israeli army.<\/p>\n

The JDL terrorists chanted \u201cdeath to Arabs\u201d, as well as \u201cMuhammad is dead\u201d and \u201cwe\u2019ll burn down your villages\u201d but the anti-war demonstrators, replied with \u201cJews and Arabs refuse to be enemies\u201d.\u00a0<\/span>Israeli Anti-Fascist activists\u00a0were there to tangle with the JDL terrorists and take back the streets of Israel from the right-wing hawks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, protests have been raging all over Israel today during the Jewish Shabbat and into the evening as the new week has begun in Israel.<\/p>\n

As the State of Israel\u2019s \u201cOperation Protective Edge\u201d entered its 12th day, and the death toll has surpassed 325 in Gaza (with at least 100 deaths in the last 24 hours), more and more pro-peace Israelis are taking to the streets to demand an end to the war that is almost exclusively killing Gazan civilians.<\/div>\n

At least\u00a030 people\u00a0were arrested in Haifa, where Anti-Fascists clashed with the JDL terrorists. Here, in the largest city in northern Israel, protestors marched in defiance of Israel\u2019s actions in the Gaza Strip. But a much bigger crowd, almost entirely Jewish, turned out Saturday night in Tel Aviv, where hundreds have gathered in Israel\u2019s second-most-populous city. As we post this, the massive protest in Tel Aviv is still raging.<\/p>\n
