{"id":11020,"date":"2017-11-06T10:35:12","date_gmt":"2017-11-06T10:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=11020"},"modified":"2017-11-06T10:35:12","modified_gmt":"2017-11-06T10:35:12","slug":"saudi-prince-killed-in-helicopter-crash-in-border-with-yemen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/saudi-prince-killed-in-helicopter-crash-in-border-with-yemen\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Prince Killed in Helicopter Crash in Border with Yemen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Saudi Arabian prince has been killed in a helicopter crash close to country\u2019s southern border with Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>According to the kingdom\u2019s al-Ekhbariya news channel, the deputy governor of the Asir province Prince Mansour bin Moqren was killed in the crash on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A number of other government officials were also killed in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Moqren formerly worked as an advisor at the court of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>Rescue teams were said to be at the scene to recover the remains.<\/p>\n<p>The incident came at a time that Saudi Arabia is incessantly pounding Yemen in an attempt to crush the popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.<\/p>\n<p>It also came just one day after the kingdom detained dozens of princes, ministers and former ministers on the order of Saudi Arabia\u2019s Anti-Corruption Committee headed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Saudi Arabian prince has been killed in a helicopter crash close to country\u2019s southern border with Yemen.
