Rasa \u2013 Ayatollah Sa\u2019idi said, \u201cTo the whole world that has risen up to oppose and conspire against the Islamic Republic of Iran, we declare that now that you have risen up with all of your might against Islam, the Quran and the Ahlul-Bayt. RNA \u2013 In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom\u2019s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa\u2019idi argued that the disbelievers lack of domination over the believers cannot be achieved by prayer alone and said, \u201cThe believers must pursue this important act in practice.\u201d
\nReferring to the world\u2019s distrust of the United States, the custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma\u2019sumah added, \u201cToday, not only the free people of the world, but also the servants of the Americans don\u2019t believe the United States is reliable. The United States has also pushed its servants aside, including the treacherous Pahlavis, the executioner Saddam Husayn and the seditious Masoud Barzani and Abrahamic steps must be taken to escape from the sovereignty of the disbelievers.\u201d
\nIn the second part of his Friday prayer sermon, he referred to World Science Day for Peace and Development and stated, \u201cIn Islamic culture, science is not defined or recommended in an absolute manner, but rather Islam emphasizes upon useful science and seekers of science must seek the useful science which is an essential need for them and society.\u201d
\nReferring to the presence of millions of lovers of Imam al-Husayn participating the Arba\u2019in pilgrimage to the Iraqi holy city of Karbala, which reached its peak today, Ayatollah Sa\u2019idi pointed out that the first person who walked in this path was Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, a prominent companion of the Prophet Muhammad, and said, \u201cJabir\u2019s pilgrimage during the suffocating and tyrannous era of the Umayyad Dynasty was a political and revolutionary movement.\u201d
\nThe representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in Qom province added that by taking a pilgrimage to the grave of the \u2018Master of the Martyrs,\u2019 Jabir laid the groundwork for the defeat of the hegemonic Umayyad Dynasty and the caliph Yazid ibn Mu\u2019awiyah, since that it was on that day the spiritual, political, and revolutionary movement was regarded as a value and the Imams emphasized this issue and added, \u201cWe thank all those who have promoted and commemorated this important event and conveyed it to the world.\u201d
\nHe criticized the Western media for censoring the Arba\u2019in pilgrimage and said, \u201cThis year, lovers of the \u2018Master of the Martyrs\u2019 from more than fifty countries participated in the pilgrimage and these same people are the Husayni media for the world. Today, Imam al-Husayn is a well-known and influential figure for the world.\u201d
\nAyatollah Sa\u2019idi added that the Arba\u2019in walk lays the groundwork for the reappearance of the promised Imam al-Mahdi and stated, \u201cShame and curse on the disbelievers, the idolaters and the Wahhabis who have applied the Western and Zionist analysis of the Husayni epic.\u201d
\n\u201cToday, with the conspiracies of the Americans and Zionists, love and affection for Imam al-Husayn is rising in the hearts of humankind,\u201d he noted.
\nHis Eminence said that even those who weren\u2019t able to travel to Karbala went to the streets of their cities or walked to other holy places and said, \u201cThe loyal followers of Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] in Iran are not affected by any conspiracy or sedition and cannot stop the Husayni commemorations and pilgrimage.\u201d
\nThe Friday prayer leader of Qom continued, \u201cThrough divine grace and with the leadership and the guidance of a senior scholar of Islam, Ayatollah Khamenei, the people of Iran will continue to promote pure Muhammadan Islam and the Husayni path and in spite of the United States and the Zionists, we will not stop our victory and support for the oppressed people of the world.\u201d
