{"id":11681,"date":"2017-11-18T08:34:21","date_gmt":"2017-11-18T08:34:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=11681"},"modified":"2017-11-18T08:34:21","modified_gmt":"2017-11-18T08:34:21","slug":"israeli-forces-shoot-palestinian-after-alleged-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/israeli-forces-shoot-palestinian-after-alleged-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli forces shoot Palestinian after alleged attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Israeli forces have shot and severely wounded a Palestinian who allegedly rammed his car into two Israelis in the occupied West Bank.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According a statement by the Israeli army, the 17-year-old was shot near Gush Etzion settlement on Friday as he \u201cproceeded by exiting the vehicle, armed with a knife, and attempted to stab (Israeli) soldiers,<\/p>\n<p>The Palestinian man is in critical conditions, while the two Israelis were wounded in the car-ramming incident.<\/p>\n<p>The occupied Palestinian territories have witnessed new tensions ever since Israeli forces introduced restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem al-Quds in August 2015.<\/p>\n<p>More than 300 Palestinians have lost their lives at the hands of Israeli forces in the ongoing tensions since the beginning of October 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The Tel Aviv regime has tried to change the demographic makeup of Jerusalem al-Quds over the past decades by constructing settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.<\/p>\n<p>Palestinians say the Israeli measures are aimed at paving the way for the Judaization of the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Israeli forces have shot and severely wounded a Palestinian who allegedly rammed his car into two Israelis in the occupied West Bank.
