{"id":12568,"date":"2017-12-16T17:00:05","date_gmt":"2017-12-16T17:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=12568"},"modified":"2017-12-16T17:00:05","modified_gmt":"2017-12-16T17:00:05","slug":"militants-kill-2-soldiers-in-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/militants-kill-2-soldiers-in-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Militants kill 2 soldiers in Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p>Two Pakistani soldiers have been killed in an attack by militants on an army vehicle on patrol in a troubled mountainous region in Pakistan\u2019s northwest.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan\u2019s army said in a statement on Tuesday that the attack took place in the North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border.<\/p>\n<p>No group has\u00a0claimed responsibility for the attack yet.<\/p>\n<p>On November 30, a roadside bomb claimed the lives of at least five anti-Taliban voluntary forces and wounded two others in South Waziristan\u2019s Spinkai area near the Afghan border.\u00a0The casualties were caused after the vehicle of a group of the voluntary forces was attacked using a remotely-detonated bomb. A faction of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the bomb attack.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in bombings and other militant attacks since 2001, when Pakistan entered into an alliance with the United States in Washington\u2019s so-called war on terror.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands more have been displaced by the wave of violence and militancy sweeping the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two Pakistani soldiers have been killed in an attack by militants on an army vehicle on patrol in a troubled mountainous region in Pakistan\u2019s northwest.
