\nThis one day emergency first aid training course is designed to suit anyone involved in community organisations, youth work, and places of congregation, to be a nominated first aiders or for those simply requiring a comprehensive first aid course.<\/p>\n
\nAll training is delivered in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations and first aid regulations (hse) relating to the workplace will be covered as part of the course.<\/p>\n
\n\u2013 Introduction and explanation.
\n\u2013 First aid health and safety regulations.
\n\u2013 Learn about the priorities of first aid and how to manage an incident safely.
\n\u2013 Treatments of unconsciousness, Shock, bleeding and common injuries.
\n\u2013 Combination of practical and theory sessions to deal with first aid emergencies.<\/p>\n
\nThe course is delivered within a day over a 6 hour period. There will be a continuous assessment throughout by the trainer. Upon successful completion, first aiders receive a certification that is approved and accredited from awarding bodies such as the CIEH and QUALSAFE to allow them to practice for three years.<\/p>\n
\nThe course fees are \u00a340.<\/p>\n
