{"id":14860,"date":"2018-09-28T17:20:39","date_gmt":"2018-09-28T17:20:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=14860"},"modified":"2018-09-28T17:20:39","modified_gmt":"2018-09-28T17:20:39","slug":"senior-cleric-warns-us-israel-of-moving-against-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/senior-cleric-warns-us-israel-of-moving-against-iran\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior cleric warns US, Israel of moving against Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"item-summary\">\n<p class=\"summary introtext\">TEHRAN, Sep. 28 (MNA) \u2013 Tehran Interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Movahedi Kermani warned that if US and Israel make the mistake of moving against Iran, their bases in the region will no longer be secure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"item-body\">\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p>Ayatollah Movahedi\u00a0Kermani made the remark at today\u2019s Friday prayers in Tehran, adding that over the past 40 years, the Islamic Revolution has shaken the foundation of global arrogance led by United States and international Zionism, and their failures continue at the hands of the Resistance Front which is inspired by the Islamic Revolution.<\/p>\n<p>Ayatollah Movahedi\u00a0Kermani added that the enemies are waging an economic warfare against the country with the aim of making the Iranian people lose hope.<\/p>\n<p>He called for reliance on the internal resources and strengthening unity and integration in the face of US sanctions, pointing out that most economic problems have roots in mismanagement and reliance on the foreign countries.<\/p>\n<p>Tehran Interim Friday Prayers Leader further noted that people hold the economic team of the government responsible for the problems, calling on the government to rearrange the country\u2019s banking system and try to eradicate poverty and seriously fight corruption and inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Ayatollah Movahedi\u00a0Kermani hailed President Rouhani\u2019s trip to New York to attend the 73rd UN General Assembly session as a success, noting that the Iranian delegation succeeded\u00a0in defending the Islamic Republic\u2019s rightful stance and reveal the true face of US hostile approach.<\/p>\n<p>He further noted that the UN General Assembly discredited Donald Trump\u2019s bullying policies, saying that other countries\u2019 delegates, including the Europeans, laughed at Trump&#8217;s speech.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN, Sep. 28 (MNA) \u2013 Tehran Interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Movahedi Kermani warned that if US and Israel make the mistake of moving against Iran, their bases in the region will no longer be secure.
