RNA \u2013 During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in \u200ethe Iraqi holy city of Karbala\u2019s Holy Shrine of Imam al-Husayn, Hujjat al-Islam Abdul-Mahdi \u200eal-Karbala\u2019i said, \u201cThe movement of Imam al-Husayn has taught us that Islam is not just the \u200eperformance of acts of worship and religious rituals.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani in Karbala added, \u201cIf we discuss \u200eand analyse the lifestyle and the movement of the \u2018Master of the Martyrs\u2019 we will recognize \u200ethat authentic and Husayni Islam emphasizes the struggle of the believing man and the \u200eIslamic ummah against deviation and misguidance and defends it against the great dangers \u200ethat exist during the present time.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam al-Karbala\u2019i stated, \u201cMany personalities in the history of Islam, who enjoyed a \u200especial status in terms of age, knowledge and worship, remained in the corners of their \u200ehomes due to the dangers that threatened the Islamic ummah and didn\u2019t played a role in \u200eassisting Imam al-Husayn.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The trustee of Holy Shrine of Imam al-Husayn added, \u201cThose who stood with complete \u200ecourage against the Daesh Takfiri terrorist phenomenon and fought against them with their \u200emoney and their lives, in fact, they have resorted to the movement of Imam Husayn. Such \u200eindividuals have preferred religious interests to personal, worldly and family interests.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n
