Rasa \u2013 Speaking in regard to the United States\u2019 new sanctions targeting Iranian oil on \u200eNovember 4th, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said, \u201cOnce again, Iran will overcome the crippling \u200esanctions that the enemies have drawn up and planned against the nation of Iran.\u201d\u200e<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

RNA \u2013 Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri, the secretary of the Supreme Council of \u200ethe Seminary, said, \u201cNovember 4th represents the three major events [in revolutionary \u200eIranian history]: the exile of the late Imam Khomeyni in 1964, Student\u2019s Day and the seizure \u200eof the Den of Spies [American embassy in Tehran]. These three events are linked together \u200eas the United States and the arrogant powers have interfered in [all three of] them and this \u200eday has been named as the \u2018National Day of Fighting the Arrogant Powers.\u2019\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said, \u201cThe enemies didn\u2019t support \u200ethe Iranian nation before the Islamic Revolution and neither did they support the Iranian \u200enation in the victory of the Revolution, but rather their work was sabotaged. Despite all their \u200edesires and sabotage, the proud of Iranian nation came to the fore and this revolution was \u200evictorious.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cAfter the revolution, there hasn\u2019t been a day where the enemies haven\u2019t \u200esanctioned\u00a0 the Iranian nation and, one after the other, the sanctions became neutral and \u200eineffective due to unity and patience.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri stressed that in order to achieve their goals, the enemies are \u200egetting help from media outlets which are hostile to the Islamic Republic of Iran and are \u200espending a large amount of money to meet their goals. By being vigilant and being unified, \u200ethe Iranian nation has been able to neutralize the enemies.\u200e<\/p>\n

His Eminence said that in various periods, the Iranian nation stood against a variety of \u200ethreats and conspiracies with the sympathy and unity such that they properly managed and \u200eadministered the Imposed War [Iran-Iraq War] for over eight years and noted, \u201cToday, with \u200epride and honour, even one inch of the territory of Islamic Iran is in the hands of those who \u200estarted the war against us and this is a sign of the greatness of the Iranian nation in \u200eprotecting the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He stressed, \u201cIn regard to these sanctions, in regard to which, on November 4th, the United \u200eStates will impose another wave of sanctions against the Iranian people, I must say that the \u200eUnited States and the enemies of the Islamic Revolution have had many sanctions against us \u200esince the beginning of the Revolution. Perhaps there are no other sanctions left.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri stated, \u201cBut what\u2019s important is that if the United States wants to \u200eimpose new sanctions against the Iranian nation, with this sympathy that exists between the \u200epeople, the nation and the authorities, they have decided to give a big \u2018no\u2019 to the excesses \u200eof the United States and not yield to the will of the enemies.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

In conclusion, he stated, \u201cWe hope that with God\u2019s grace, we will overcome the crippling \u200esanctions that the enemies have drawn up and planned against the nation of Iran, just as we \u200eovercome the previous steps with glory and pride, and we will celebrate the fortieth \u200eanniversary of the Islamic Revolution with beauty.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
