Adam had two sons
\ncalled Habil and Qabil.
\nAdam thought that
\nHabil, the younger son,
\nshould take over after him.
\nBut Qabil didn’t like this
\nidea and was very

To settle the argument
\nAdam thought of an idea.
\nHe told his sons to think
\nof a present to give to
\nAllah and to leave it
\non top of a certain hill.<\/span><\/p>\n

The one whose
\npresent Allah accepted,
\nwould win the
\nargument.<\/span><\/p>\n

Allah chose Habil’s
\npresent because Habil
\nhad taken a lot
\nof time and trouble
\nto choose his present.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nand it started to rain.
\nLightly at first, then
\nmore and more heavily. Soon
\nthere was water everywhere.

\nfrom the water.<\/span><\/p>\n
