Prophet Ibrahim (a) & Prophet Ishaq (a)<\/span><\/p>\n

The Well of Zamzam
\nwhere water first flowed
\nto save the lives of
\nHajar and Ismail, became
\na popular place for the
\ncaravans to stop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some people liked the
\nplace so much they decided
\nto stay there.
\nThis place became known
\nas Makkah.<\/span><\/p>\n

One day Ibrahim had
\na message from Allah.
\nHe and Ismail were to
\nbuild a place for
\npeople to pray.
\nThey were to build
\nan altar, it was to
\nbe known as the Ka’aba.<\/span><\/p>\n

The angel Jibrail
\nbrought the message
\nsaying that the Ka’aba
\nshould be built near
\nthe Well of Zamzam,
\nthe most sacred place
\non earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The foundation stone
\nfor the Ka’aba was to
\ncome from heaven.
\nIt is found today in a
\ncorner of the Ka’aba and is
\nknown as the black stone.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Ibrahim was
\nbuilding the Ka’aba
\nhe was standing on
\na large rock. Allah
\nsoftened the rock and
\nthe shape of Ibrahim’s
\nbare feet was left in
\nit. It is still there,
\nfor all to see.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Ibrahim was
\nvery old the angels
\ncame to see him and
\nsaid Allah was
\ngoing to give a son
\nto him and Sarah.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah could not believe
\nit was true. She too was
\nold. The angels said that
\nall things are possible
\nto Allah. They said the
\nson was to be called
\nIshaq. He was to be a prophet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sure enough,
\nSarah did have
\na son and they called
\nhim Ishaq. he grew
\nup to be a great
\nprophet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ishaq married a
\ngirl called Rebecca.
\nThey had two sons,
\ncalled Esau and Yaqub.
\nYaqub became a
\ngreat prophet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yaqub grew up and
\nmarried Zia and they
\nhad lots of children,
\nboth boys and girls.
\nHis second wife
\nRohsie had two sons,
\nYusuf and Benjamin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yusuf and Benjamin
\nwere very good, obedient
\nsons and they became
\nYaqub’s favourites because
\nof their good behaviour.
\nYusuf too grew up
\nto be a prophet.<\/span><\/p>\n

All of these great
\nprophets were
\ndescendents of Ibrahim.
\nHe is known as
\nthe father of all
\nthe prophets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muhammad (s), our great
\nand beloved prophet,
\nthe last of all the
\nprophets was a
\ndescendant of Ismail. <\/span><\/p>\n
