Prophet Shu’ayb (a)<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prophet Shu’ayb
\nwas a descendent
\nof the Prophet Ibrahim.
\nHe was sent to Midian and the
\nDwellers of the wood to give
\nthem Allah’s message.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Midianite people
\ncommitted many sins.<\/span><\/p>\n

They gave short measures
\nand weights,
\nthey robbed people and
\ncaused mischief but most
\nseriously they tried to stop
\npeople from
\nworshipping Allah.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shu’ayb tried to make
\nthem change but they
\nwould not listen to him.
\nThey wanted to throw
\nhim out and all the
\npeople who had
\nlistened to his words.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then Allah sent an
\nearthquake and all
\nthe evil people were
\ndestroyed because they
\nwould not obey the
\nword of Allah.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prophet Yunus (a)<\/span><\/center>The prophet Yunus
\nwas sent to Ninevah.
\nHe became known as the
\nLord of the Fish (Dhan-Nun).
\nHe warned the people about
\ntheir evil ways and told them
\nto follow Allah but they
\nwould not listen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yunus was so angry he left.
\nHe sailed away but the ship
\nwas so full and heavy,
\npoor Yunus
\nwas thrown
\noverboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was
\nswallowed by an
\nenormous fish and he
\nlived in its belly
\nfor three days.
\nThen the fish spewed
\nhim out on a shore.
\nHe was very ill but
\nAllah was protecting him.<\/span><\/p>\n

A plant grew
\nand its leaves protected
\nYunus from the sun and
\nkept the flies away.
\nA wild goat provided him
\nwith milk. When he became
\nbetter he went back to
\nNinevah and gave the
\npeople Allah’s message
\nonce more. This time
\nthe people listened
\nand Allah forgave them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prophet Ayyub (a)<\/span><\/center>The Prophet Ayyub had
\nbeen a wealthy man.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was a very good
\nman but he lost his family
\nand his wealth.<\/span><\/p>\n

He became ill and had terrible
\nsores all over his body.
\nHowever he never gave up.
\nHe spent his time praying.
\nHe was very patient and
\nalways kept his faith in Allah.
\nEventually Allah showed mercy.
\nHe told Ayyub to strike the earth
\nwith his foot and miraculously
\na fountain appeared.<\/span><\/p>\n

He drank the water and used
\nit to wash his body.
\nAll his sores were healed
\nand everything was returned
\nto him as before.<\/span><\/p>\n

Allah had rewarded him for
\nkeeping his faith despite the
\nterrible afflictions he
