Various Iranian cities and towns were the scene of mass rallies celebrating the 40th anniversary of the\u00a0Islamic Revolution on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The revolution toppled the US-backed Pahlavi monarchy and set the stage for the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/p>\n

President Rouhani Vows Push to Enhance Iran\u2019s Missile Power<\/span><\/h1>\n

TEHRAN (Tasnim) \u2013 Iran will vigorously continue to boost its military power, President Hassan Rouhani underlined, stressing that the country will never ask permission from anybody for the development of its missile capabilities.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWe have not asked and will not ask permission from anybody to manufacture various types of anti-armor missiles, air defense missiles, ground-to-ground, sea-to-sea and air-to-air missiles,\u201d President Rouhani said in a large gathering of people celebrating the 40th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution at Tehran\u2019s Azadi (Liberty) Square on Monday.<\/p>\n

The president also highlighted Iran\u2019s military advances over the past 40 years, particularly in the recent 5 years, which he said have surprised the world, stressing that such progress in the military sphere will vigorously go on.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have manufactured whatever our Armed Forces need, including missiles, fighter jets, helicopters, frigates, submarines, personnel carriers, and individual rifles, all of which have been incredible,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

President Rouhani then touched on Iran\u2019s assistance for the regional countries, saying the Islamic Republic helped the nations of Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen to achieve freedom and decide their own fate.<\/p>\n

He also made a comparison between the situation of Iran before and after victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying the country has made great advances in agriculture, industry, oil and gas extraction, transportation, dam construction, power generation, development of ports, health care, social justice, science, academic education, pharmaceutical industry, space technology, and military industry.<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s role in the region is more essential than ever, he added, noting that Iran is the only country that can help establish security in the regional nations.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo plan in this region could be implemented without Iran. The global arrogance, Americans, and Zionists should know that victory belongs to the Iranian nation,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n

The rallies on the national holiday of \u201cBahman 22nd\u201d began at 9 am local time in more than 1,000 cities and towns as well as 10,000 villages across Iran.<\/p>\n

People from different walks of life have attended the processions with flags of Iran and banners in support of the Islamic Republic to mark the revolution\u2019s ruby jubilee.<\/p>\n

In capital Tehran, demonstrators marched across different routes to reach the Azadi (Liberty) Square, where President Hassan Rouhani gave an address.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of foreign guests, including scientific, political, and influential figures have travelled to Iran for the event, which is also a great opportunity for reporters.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of cameramen and journalists cover the massive rallies in Tehran and other cities.<\/p>\n

Iranian political and military officials have also attended the rallies along with other people to rejoice at the auspicious ceremony.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters in demonstrations marking the revolution\u2019s victory anniversary in Tehran on Monday, Ayatollah Amoli Larijani said the most important message of the magnificent presence of people in the rallies is that \u201cour great nation will never surrender to the pressures, threats, and cruel sanctions from the enemies.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also underlined that the Islamic Republic has an influential role in the region more than ever, saying the \u201cresistance front in the region\u201d is relying on Iran.<\/p>\n

The top judge finally stressed that the enemies of Iran are doomed to failure and humiliation, like the past.<\/p>\n

Tehran Police Chief: Revolution Anniversary Rallies Held in Complete Safety<\/span><\/h1>\n

TEHRAN (Tasnim) \u2013 Commander of Tehran\u2019s Police said the Monday\u2019s demonstrations in capital marking the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution were held in complete safety.<\/h3>\n

In comments on the sidelines of the rallies in Tehran, Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi said the demonstrations were held with full safety, everything was kept in order, and there was not a single report of a security problem in the city of Tehran.<\/p>\n

He said the police forces had made arrangements since last night to ensure security along the 12 march routes in the capital leading to the Azadi (Liberty) square.<\/p>\n

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian people attending countrywide demonstrations in celebration of the 40th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution slammed the US as the very epitome of evil and violence, calling on the Iranian officials to keep boosting the country\u2019s defense and missile power.<\/h3>\n

In a final declaration after holding mass rallies in Iran\u2019s capital of Tehran and other cities on Monday, demonstrators reaffirmed commitment to supporting the Islamic Republic Establishment as a \u201cmighty political system\u201d.<\/p>\n

The statement also denounced the US government as the embodiment of evil, violence, cruelty, crisis-making and warmongering in the world, urging the Iranian officials to learn lessons from the negotiations that resulted in the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA), not forget the Great Satan\u2019s violation of commitments over the past four decades, not trust the Western pledges, and to decisively counter the \u201cEuropean countries\u2019 brazen demands\u201d.<\/p>\n

It also stressed the need for a continuous advance in Iran\u2019s defense and missile power and the deterrent strategies, calling for a boost to the country\u2019s peaceful nuclear activities.<\/p>\n
