RNA \u2013 In a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Mohaqqeqi, the director of Rasa News Agency, and \u200ea group of officials of this media organization, Hujjat al-Islam Abdolkarim Bahjatpour, the \u200edirector of the Women\u2019s Seminaries of Iran, praised its valuable activities.\u200e<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Bahjatpour\u200e referred to his plans and actions since he accepted the \u200eresponsibility to oversee the Women\u2019s Seminaries of Iran and noted that attention to quality \u200eand avoidance of quantitative development is considered an important principle in \u200emanagement and added, \u201cWe have a sufficient number women\u2019s seminaries at various levels \u200eand we now have to focus on solving some of the problems and activities that may have \u200ebeen harmful, changing some aspects and preparing for a change in terms of content.\u201d\u200e

\nHe described one of the shining examples of the women seminarians the recent floods in the \u200eprovinces of Golestan, Khuzestan and Lorestan and said, \u201cIn the town of Pol-e Dokhtar \u200e\u200e[Lorestan], the women\u2019s seminary was turned into a centre for flood relief efforts and the \u200eprincipal of the seminary sold his gold and personal belongings and sent the money to help \u200ethe flood victims. Similar incidents also occurred in other areas of the country.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He also noted that the school-centered approach is another approach and action of the \u200eWomen\u2019s Seminaries and said, \u201cWe believe that the women\u2019s seminaries must go forth from \u200ethe schools and headquarters to serve the schools and we need to structure the real work in \u200eschools.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Bahjatpour said, \u201cIn regard to the entrance exam this year, the seminaries \u200edon\u2019t have an objective to attract the maximum number of students and we have also \u200echanged the selection system and the time of registration and we hope that we can achieve \u200ethe desired changes in the women\u2019s seminaries and theological schools.\u201d\u200e

\nIn another part of his speech, the director of the Women\u2019s Seminaries of Iran emphasized \u200ethat in regard to political issues, the seminaries must not become the political clubs of \u200eparties and movements and said, \u201cWe believe that the seminaries \u200emust be political and \u200efollow the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] and according to \u200ehis indications but it must not take on the colour of parties and movements.\u201d\u200e

\nHis Eminence also explained the mission of the Islamic Seminaries in regard to the statement \u200eissued by the Supreme Leader on the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution, and \u200eemphasized that the Islamic Seminaries must find its role and position in this statement and \u200esaid, \u201cIn my opinion, this statement is a visionary statement and the Islamic Seminaries \u200emust act in accordance with this statement.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cIn our opinion, it\u2019s necessary for the Islamic Seminaries to understand what \u200ethey must do in regard to the statement on the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution and \u200ewhat missions they have. You must also be sufficiently aware of your lack of action in the \u200efirst phase of the Islamic Revolution\u200e.\u201d \u200e<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Bahjatpour \u200enoted, \u201cBy issuing this statement, the Supreme Leader, with all his \u200eexperience and presence in the events and thoughts, acted in a manner that many of the \u200eorganizations couldn\u2019t have done.\u201d\u200e

\nHis Eminence said, \u201cIn line with the statement on the Second Phase of the Islamic \u200eRevolution, our work must be committable and of course be measurable.\u201d \u200e

\nHe also referred to the issue of the Islamic lifestyle, which is one of the pillars of the \u200estatement of the Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution, and said, \u201cIn this regard, we must \u200eknow the issues and variables, then assess them, and then, with regard to the serious \u200evariables of the lifestyle, we must compile them.\u201d\u200e

\nHujjat al-Islam Bahjatpour \u200estressed one of the effects of revolutionary action is not to \u200esurrender to the arrogant powers and said, \u201cThe biggest duty of the Islamic Seminaries in \u200ethe Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution is to protect and demonstrate our valuable \u200ereligious identity against the arrogant powers.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Referring to Ayatollah Mortaza Motahhari, a late Iranian cleric, philosopher, lecturer, and \u200epolitician who is considered as having an important influence on the ideologies of the Islamic \u200eRepublic of Iran, His Eminence stated, \u201cThe Islamic Seminaries \u200emust be the Motahhari of \u200etheir time, know the issues, resolve the crises and be the focal points of the women. \u200eGeneralizations aren\u2019t beneficial.\u201d\u200e

\nHe added, \u201cWe believe that the women\u2019s seminaries must find their own issues and in this \u200earena we need the assistance of the media and news agencies, especially Rasa News \u200eAgency.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Bahjatpour \u200ereferred to the issue of media conferences and said, \u201cIn regard, \u200ewe have such meetings at the Centre for the Management of the Islamic Seminaries. Our \u200eemphasis is to have the doors of the women\u2019s seminaries open for specialized disciplines.\u201d\u200e

\nThe director of the Women\u2019s Seminaries of Iran also announced that the \u200eCentre for the \u200eManagement of the Islamic Seminaries was fully prepared to cooperate with Rasa News \u200eAgency in various fields and said, \u201cWe consider the issue of engagement with the media and \u200enews agencies to be a serious matter and at the same time we believe that the women\u2019s \u200eseminaries should be exposed to criticism in order to be seen.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
