RNA \u2013 In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom\u2019s Quds \u200e\u200e\u200ePrayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri said that communication with God \u200eand the strengthening of spirituality must not be limited to the holy month of Ramadhan and \u200eadded, \u201cWe must not distance ourselves from the Holy Quran in other months because \u200eRamadhan is a exercise to implement the Islamic lifestyle in other months.\u201d\u200e

\nReferring to the glorious presence of the people in the marches held on International al-Quds \u200eDay, the member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts\u200e said, \u201cThis year, the \u200epresence of the people was more passionate and the people stood against the deceptive \u200eplot of the \u2018Deal of the Century.\u2019 Due to the glorious presence of the people of the Islamic \u200eUmmah in 100 countries on International al-Quds Day, we will see the neutralization of the \u200eenemies\u2019 plots.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He said that the presence of the people in the ceremonies marking of the death anniversary \u200eof the founder of Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeyni, was \u201cimpressive,\u201d and noted, \u200e\u200e\u201cThis presence demonstrates that after thirty years after his death, the people stand firmly \u200eon the covenant that they have signed with the Imam of the Ummah.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Referring to the anniversary of the demolition of the blessed mausoleums of the Imams in \u200eMadinah\u2019s Jannat al-Baqi cemetery on April 21, 1925, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri \u200estressed, \u200e\u200e\u201cThe 8th of Shawwal is the anniversary of the filthy act by the misguided Wahhabi sect and \u200etoday, the Wahhabi ideology unfortunately harms the Islamic world and Takfiris and Daesh \u200econtinue the path of these destroyers of Jannat al-Baqi. We hope that the Islamic Ummah \u200ewill be saved from this evil ideology and that the Islamic Ummah will be united in their lofty \u200egoals.\u201d\u200e

\nThe secretary of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary referred to the lifestyle of the \u200egreat founder of the Islamic Revolution, he said, \u201cImam Khomeyni was a great personality \u200ewho was the model of the freedom-loving people of the world. The Imam was able to stand \u200efirmly against the enemies and the people were and have supported the work of the Islamic \u200eRevolution with their lives and hearts.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He stated, \u201cImam Khomeyni was determined and resolute on the path to reaching his goal \u200eand he always acted with divine support. The Imam was duty-oriented and wasn\u2019t negligent \u200ein order to achieve his goals. The Imam was tireless and always hopeful. The Imam mixed \u200epolitics with spirituality.\u201d \u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri \u200eadded that this year, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic \u200eRevolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] noted that one of prominent features of the Imam was his \u200epersistence and resistance. Resistance means that if a person determines the right path, he \u200ewill not go astray and obstacles won\u2019t stop him.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

His Eminence noted that the resistance of the Iranian nation has a foundation and said, \u200e\u200e\u201cAccording to the command of the Supreme Leader, if we don\u2019t resist and we surrender, the \u200eenemies will advance, some prescribe that we must surrender in order to solve the problems \u200eand give the green light to the enemies, while we have progressed whenever we have stood \u200eup, but whenever we have retreated, we have faced a loss.\u201d \u200e<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cThe Iranian nation will resist until it stops the enemies. The cost of surrender and \u200ewithdrawal is far more than the resistance that we saw during the Pahlavi regime and today \u200ethis is seen with the Saudis. Although, there are difficulties with resistance but the identity \u200eand the independence of the country is protected. We believe in the promise of God that if \u200ewe are persevering on the path of God, we will be victorious.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri \u200esaid that the enemies are in decline today and stated, \u201cOur \u200ecountry has many capacities and we can defeat the enemies by relying on our internal \u200ecapacities. The officials must strive and listen to the speeches and recommendations of the \u200eSupreme Leader and act on them.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n
