RNA \u2013 In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers at \u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eQom\u2019s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa\u2019idi referred to the Hajj pilgrimage, \u200ewhich begins on August 9th, and said, \u201cWe pray to God for all those who are on the Hajj \u200epilgrimage to have the grace to perform the correct and acceptable rituals of the Hajj and \u200ewe hope that they will return home with an acceptable Hajj.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma\u2019sumah\u200e \u200ecommemorated the \u200eResistance Day, which celebrates Hezbollah\u2019s defeat of the Israeli regime the 33-Day War in \u200e\u200e2006 and said, \u201cOn this day, Hezbollah defeated the Zionists in the 33-Day War through the \u200egrace of God and the special favour of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra and pushed them back.\u201d \u200e<\/p>\n

He noted the importance of resistance in Islam, adding, \u201cResistance in the Holy Quran is \u200emore than a word or a term and resistance isn\u2019t limited to a dream on the battlefield but \u200erather it includes any kind of struggle against those elements which disturb balance and \u200eequilibrium.\u201d\u200e

\nAyatollah Sa\u2019idi \u200econtinued, \u201cFrom the beginning until now, the Islamic Revolution and the \u200ereligious system arising from it, has moved forward with divine dignity and power and with its \u200eyoung and elite manpower, they have overcome the acts of sedition, conspiracies and evil \u200eplans of the global arrogant front and their mercenary and internal agents.\u201d \u200e<\/p>\n

The representative of the Supreme Leader in \u200eQom \u200estated, \u201cAlthough the pressure, hostility \u200eand conspiracies against the Islamic Revolution have intensified, the strength and \u200edevelopment of the Islamic Republic has increased in various arenas. The Americans \u200eassumed, within the framework of the JCPOA nuclear deal and through negotiating, that they \u200ecan put the Islamic Republic on the path of surrender, compromise and the renunciation of \u200eresistance, but the vigilance of the wise Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution eroded \u200ethe evil plans of the Americans and their allies.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cAfter that, the Americans drew up another plan, and with their departure from the \u200eJCPOA, they embarked on a strategy of intensifying sanctions and crises in Iran to overthrow \u200ethe Islamic Republic. At this time, the division of work was done between the United States \u200eand several European countries in order that with the withdrawal of the United States from \u200ethe JPCOA, the Europeans could enter the scene and by imposing pressures and pushing \u200eIran to the negotiating table, they could gain greater concessions on scarce economic aid.\u201d\u200e

\nAyatollah Sa\u2019idi \u200econtinued, saying, \u201cAt the same time, the United States insisted on \u200enegotiating with Iran but the Supreme Leader considered negotiating with the United States \u200eas poison and announced negotiating with the United States as strictly prohibited. It was \u200ehere that the United States lost hope in negotiating with Iran. They acted foolishly by \u200esanctioning Mohammad-Javad Zarif, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Iran, because Americans \u200eassumed that Mr. Zarif\u2019s importance was due to his presence in the negotiations and when \u200ethere were no negotiations, his position wasn\u2019t required.\u201d\u200e

\nHe added, \u201cWith the experience gained from negotiating with the deceitful United States, we \u200ehope that the diplomatic apparatus of the Islamic Republic of Iran won\u2019t be content to \u200enegotiate with the cunning Europeans because the Europeans have admitted themselves that \u200ethey are united in opinion with the United States in dealing with the Islamic Republic of Iran. \u200eEverything we have achieved is in the light of resistance and we will continue this path to the \u200eend, with the grace of God.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
