Referring to the enemies\u2019 attempts to weaken religious belief in society, Ayatollah Reza \u200eOstadi said, \u201cthere is heavy propaganda against Shi\u2019ism and the Shi\u2019ah clergy and they are \u200ebeing vilified to diminish their popularity and isolate them.\u201d \u200e<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
RNA \u2013 Speaking at a ceremony marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Ridha at \u200ethe office of Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, Ayatollah Reza Ostadi, a member of the Supreme \u200eCouncil of the Islamic Seminaries, said that during the Umayyad period, the hypocrites made \u200ethe conditions such such that Imam Ali was even cursed from the pulpits and all plans were \u200eaimed at eliminating Islam, the Prophet Muhammad and the Ahl al-Bayt. \u200e<\/span><\/p>\n

His Eminence said that the Ahl al-Bayt emphasized upon the revival of their affairs to as \u200ecounterpoint to the enemies\u2019 plans to kill Shi\u2019ahs.\u200e<\/span><\/p>\n

Ayatollah Ostadi said, \u201cThe revival of the affairs of the Ahl al-Bayt is to bring Shi\u2019ahs together \u200eto express the virtues and sciences of these nobles and the mourning assemblies and \u200egatherings have been established for this same reason. We must not think that this \u200eanimosity has been and will be resolved. This is because today there are similar animosities \u200ein another form that say we don\u2019t want Islam and Shi\u2019ism to exist.\u201d \u200e<\/span><\/p>\n

He said, \u201cToday, there is heavy propaganda against Shi\u2019ism and the Shi\u2019ah clergy and they \u200eare being vilified to diminish their popularity and isolate them. Another manifestation of the \u200erevival of the affairs of the Ahl al-Bayt is that mankind learns the knowledge of the Ahl al-\u200eBayt and educates others because if people become acquainted with the merits of these \u200eteachings, they will follow it themselves because they conform to reason and intrinsic \u200enature.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/p>\n

Ayatollah Ostadi added, \u201cToday, the enemies are undermining the beliefs and mourning of \u200eShi\u2019ahs because they don\u2019t want the people to be familiar with the teachings of the Ahl al-\u200eBayt. Our duty is to learn the teachings of the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt and pass it on to \u200eothers. Today, it\u2019s the duty of the speakers to convey the knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt to \u200eothers and if we have ceremonies we must seek to teach the people this knowledge.
