RNA \u2013 In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers \u200e\u200eat \u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eQom\u2019s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa\u2019idi referred to the protests over \u200ethe increased price of gasoline in several Iranian cities over the past week and said, \u201cSome \u200epeople have created an uproar over the past several days and engaged in riots. Although \u200esimilar events have occurred since the Islamic Revolution, they have been small and quickly \u200eneutralized but they have had complications.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma\u2019sumah stressed that the energy \u200ecarriers in Iran are the cheapest in the world and said, \u201cAccording to the fifth development \u200eplan, it was predicted that the price of gasoline would be gradually increased in such a way \u200ethat it doesn\u2019t put pressure on the people and cause inflation but it was not enacted.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He said that just as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali \u200eKhamenei) considers the method and tradition of the late Imam Khomeyni, he also considers \u200esupporting the expert decision of the three levels of government to support public opinion \u200eas a necessary issue, and for that reason, the Supreme Leader expressed his support for the \u200edecision of the three levels of government.\u201d\u200e

\nAyatollah Sa\u2019idi emphasized that according to Islamic and national law, the decisive positions \u200eof the Supreme Leader are the final decision in all cases and added, \u201cExperience has \u200edemonstrated that following the commandments of the Supreme Leader are in the best \u200einterest of the administration of the country and the people.\u201d\u200e

\nThe representative of the Supreme Leader in \u200eQom \u200eemphasized that the Iranian people \u200edemonstrated their insight by separating themselves from the rioters and participating in the \u200ewidespread marches that are being held in all provinces of the country in support of the \u200eIslamic Revolution and said, \u201cThe insightful and revolutionary people of Qom announced \u200etheir allegiance to the ideals of Imam Khomeyni and martyr in the marches which occurred \u200eyesterday [November 21st] in which they renounced the United States and the United \u200eKingdom.\u201d\u200e

\nHe praised the sincere and revolutionary actions of the people in support of the country\u2019s \u200esecurity and stated, \u201cThe massive conspiracy to launch turmoil, riots, create a security war \u200eand spread it, the destruction of public and private property was foiled and the security and \u200elaw enforcement forces and the timely presence of the people and the Basij forces \u200eneutralized the conspiracy.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Sa\u2019idi said, \u201cJust as it\u2019s obvious, the enemies have intensified their comprehensive \u200eeconomic war against the Iranian people. The strategy of achieving victory over the enemies \u200elies in the realization of the strategy of protecting national production and entrepreneurship. \u200eAlthough, this strategy is important to circumvent the sanctions, it also has a tactical \u200easpect.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n
