RNA \u2013 In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers \u200e\u200e\u200eat \u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eQom\u2019s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa\u2019idi \u200ereferred to the issues \u200ethroughout the Islamic world and the November riots over the increased price of gasoline \u200eand said, \u201cOver the past several years, the enemies have launched several wars of security \u200ein a widespread manner in several countries. All praise be to God, the seditious enemies, \u200edisturbers and rioters were strongly defeated and disgraced by the heroic and insightful \u200epeople of Iran due to the wise planning of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution \u200e\u200e[Ayatollah Khamenei].\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma\u2019sumah said, \u201cThe officials must \u200eknow that the solution to the organization of the economic and welfare situation of the \u200epeople is to pay heed to the Supreme Leader\u2019s words of guidance. In economic war, we \u200emust turn the enemies\u2019 threats into opportunities by strengthening the national currency, \u200eboycotting US dollar transactions, strengthening bilateral cooperation with Islamic countries, \u200efostering a knowledge-based economy and focusing on the innovations and initiatives of the \u200eyouth.\u201d\u200e

\nHe emphasized, \u201cOne of the enemies\u2019 cultural attacks that endanger the safety of society is \u200ethe issue of poor hijab. This unethical phenomenon has its own corruption within it, including \u200eits effect on weakening family foundations and increasing the rate of divorce. Lev Tolstoy, \u200ethe nineteenth century Russian philosopher and thinker, said that the cause of the rise in \u200edivorce in Europe, which has disturbed public opinion, is due to the lack of veiling and the \u200efact that men are more reluctant to socialize with women than their wives. Also, women who \u200edress inappropriately are often harassed by lustful men.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Sa\u2019idi said that the women of society must preserve their personality and dignity \u200eand said, \u201cBy observing the hijab, women protect their families from harm and take actions \u200ein a manner which obtains divine consent in order protect themselves and the youth.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

The representative of the Supreme Leader in \u200eQom referred to the nomination of candidates \u200efor the Islamic Consultative Assembly (parliament) and stated, \u201cThe representatives swear \u200eto God Almighty by the Holy Quran to protect the sanctity of Islam and guard the \u200efoundations and achievements of the Islamic Revolution in the oath which they sign. The \u200erepresentatives swear that they will be faithful, just, committed to the independence and \u200eadvancement of the country, to provide the\u200f \u200f\u200e interests of the country\u200f \u200fand serve the people \u200eand defend the constitution.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cThose who are elected to the Islamic Consultative Assembly must leave the \u200esecurity of movements and fulfill their religious and revolutionary duties and be the servants \u200eof the nation. Those who, when they enter the Islamic Consultative Assembly, are in other \u200eworlds and engage in conflicts, don\u2019t represent the people.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Sa\u2019idi emphasized, \u201cThe officials must solve the problems facing the country in a \u200efar-reaching manner because if they had been thinking about these problems in the past, \u200etoday we would not have had these problems.
