Following the results of an investigation, released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces \u200econcerning the Ukrainian passenger plane crash, Imam Khamenei issued a message.\u200e<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
RNA \u2013 Following the results of the investigation, released by the General Staff of the Armed \u200eForces concerning the Ukrainian passenger plane crash, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei \u2013 the \u200eSupreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution \u2013 issued a message expressing his heartfelt \u200econdolences to the honorable families of the deceased, ordering General Staff to pursue any \u200epossible negligence or fault in this event, and speaking about the need to prevent the \u200epossibility of such accidents happening in the future. \u200e<\/p>\n

The following is the full text of the message issued on January 11, 2020, according to \u200eKhamenei.ir \u200e<\/p>\n

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful<\/strong><\/p>\n

After having been informed of the results of the investigation conducted by the General Staff \u200eof the Armed Forces pertaining to the Ukrainian passenger plane, and after it was proven \u200ethat human error was involved in that incident, the grief stemming from the loss of the \u200edeceased from that sad incident became heavier for me.\u200e<\/p>\n

First of all, I deem it necessary to express my genuine sympathy and my heartfelt \u200econdolences to the esteemed families of the dear victims and to ask God, the Exalted, to \u200ebestow patience, tranquillity and peace of mind on them. Secondly, I order that the General \u200eStaff of the Armed Forces pursue every case of possible negligence or error that may have \u200ebeen committed in this painful incident. Thirdly, I ask the managers and officials in charge to \u200edo everything in their power to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.\u200e<\/p>\n

May God, the Almighty and the Beneficent bestow His grace and mercy on the deceased, \u200eand may He shower patience and reward on their family members.\u200e
