The teacher at Imam Khomeyni Specialized University said the recent crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 was regrettable and said, \u201cThe great services of the children of the nation in the IRGC must not be put under question because of the tragic plane accident.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
RNA \u2013 Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the martyrs of the crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 which was attended by several sources of emulation, scholars and the public at Qom\u2019s Grand Mosque, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Naser Rafiei said, \u201cIn January of this year, there have been several terrible events that affected the dear people.\u201d<\/p>\n

The renowned lecturer referred to the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleymani on Iraqi soil at dawn on Friday, January 3rd and said, \u201cThe martyrdom of General Soleymani was a terrible tribulation and tragedy for the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

He pointed to the martyrdom of a large number of people in a stampede at General Soleymani\u2019s funeral in Kerman, adding, \u201cThe martyrs of Kerman sacrificed their lives for the sake of their love for General Soleymani and the line of martyrdom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Rafiei said that the crash of Flight 752 was very sad and added, \u201cThe sadness of the plane accident deepened the loss of General Soleymani.\u201d<\/p>\n

The teacher at Imam Khomeyni Specialized University (a campus of al-Mustafa International University) in Qom emphasized that human error was involved in the accident and said, \u201cActions must be properly managed after the plane accident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to human error in the Battle of Uhud and the martyrdom of Hamzah ibn Abdul-Muttalib, the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s uncle, His Eminence stated, \u201cIn the time of the Prophet, the wave-riding hypocrites sought to exploit this human error.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that those who gathered under the pretext of the tragedy of the plane accident didn\u2019t have grief for the martyrs added, \u201cThe rally\u2019s slogans were reminiscent of the sedition of 2009.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Rafiei pointed to the humiliation of the United States due to Iran\u2019s missile attack on the Ayn al-Asad Airbase in Iraq on January 7th, adding, \u201cOne of the lessons of the recent events is the lack of pride in victory.\u201d<\/p>\n

His Eminence considered the protests and complaints of the people regarding the delay in announcing the cause of the plane accident to be rightful and added, \u201cThe great services of the children of the nation in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) must not be put under question because of the tragic plane accident.\u201d<\/p>\n

He referred to the participation of Robert Macaire, the United Kingdom\u2019s Ambassador to Iran, in an illegal protest in Tehran over the plane accident and said, \u201cWe must be careful about abuses of this human error in the plane accident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hujjat al-Islam Rafiei stated that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, offered his condolences on the plane accident twice and added, \u201cThe plane accident has severely affected the Supreme Leader.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also described the floods in Sistan and Balouchestan province as one of the worst events of January and added, \u201cNecessary measures must be taken to compensate the people of Sistan and Balouchestan.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
