Separately on Sunday, Abdullah Askar Majali, a cameraman working for al-Masirah TV, was killed in Yemen\u2019s northern province of al-Jawf.<\/p>\n
The television network said Majali lost his life while covering the advances of Yemeni army forces and allied fighters from Popular Committees.<\/p>\n
The US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization, estimates that the war has claimed more than 100,000 lives over the past five years.<\/p>\n
More than half of Yemen\u2019s hospitals and clinics have been destroyed or closed during the war by the Saudi-led coalition, which is supported militarily by the UK, US and other Western nations.<\/p>\n
