{"id":19765,"date":"2020-10-29T10:07:02","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T10:07:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=19765"},"modified":"2020-10-29T10:07:02","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T10:07:02","slug":"five-minors-on-death-row-in-saudi-arabia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/five-minors-on-death-row-in-saudi-arabia\/","title":{"rendered":"Five Minors on Death Row in Saudi Arabia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The human rights organization \u2018Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain\u2019 ADHRB condemned death sentences issued against minors in Saudi Arabia, calling for the cancelation of such sentences and releasing the detainees immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The rights body added that the current Saudi regime\u2019s practices violate international standards, including the Arab Charter for Human Rights, pointing to that Saudi Arabia scores the highest average of executions in the world.<\/p>\n<p>And despite the international community\u2019s urging to ban the death punishment, Saudi Arabia still executes detainees.<\/p>\n<p>Among the eight detainees from the eastern province, seven are accused of attacking policemen with Molotov cocktails and guns, according to the confessions that would be taken under torture.
