Ayatollah Namazi stated that the enemies are propagating unconventional mourning \u200erituals against Islam and added, \u201cThe effects of the abuses of the Shirazi and Wahhabi \u200emovements against the Shi\u2019ahs.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

RNA \u2013 In an exclusive interview of Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abdonnabi Namazi, \u200ethe representative of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in \u200eKashan province, criticized the actions of some movements and groups in promoting \u200eirrationality and the mourning Muharram and Safar rituals without observing hygienic \u200eprinciples and said, \u201cThis is a rebellion against the correct customs and traditions that \u200ehave been passed down from different generations and some people have traditional \u200eprejudices that are not compatible with some of the rules of shari\u2019ah.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n

Citing an example of incorrect mourning, he said, \u201cSome traditional groups in Iraq \u200ebecome unconscious during the days of mourning and not only do they chain and whip \u200ethemselves but also beat their children\u2019s heads with whips and blood pours out of their \u200ewounds.\u201d \u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n

He stated that the enemies and dissident media are abusing inappropriate methods of \u200emourning against Islam and clarified, \u201cThe enemies are abusing such behaviours and by \u200efilming these behaviours, they are following the footsteps of Islam. They say in their \u200emedia reports that Muslims don\u2019t have mercy on themselves nor upon their children.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n

Emphasizing the need to raise awareness about the negative effects of inappropriate \u200emethods of mourning against Islam and the Imams, Ayatollah Namazi added, \u201cThose \u200ewho are acceptable and influential among these types of Muslims must speak, advise \u200eand warn privately and inform them of the negative effects and propaganda of such \u200eabuses against Islam and the Ahl al-Bayt.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n

The representative of the people of Esfahan province in the Assembly of Experts of the \u200eLeadership referred to the alignment of the Shirazi movement and Wahhabism and said, \u200e\u200e\u201cThe effects of the abuses of both currents are against the Shi\u2019ahs; Wahhabism is \u200ehostile to the Ahl al-Bayt and the Shi\u2019ahs but the Shirazi movement is harming the path \u200eof friendship by pretending to follow the guardianship of Imam Ali and devoting itself \u200eto the Purified Imams and mourning for Imam al-Husayn through friendship.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n

While explaining a narration, he said, \u201cSome are friends but don\u2019t have the necessary \u200eknowledge and awareness and the harm of their inappropriate behaviour goes back to \u200eIslam and the Ahl al-Bayt. In a narration addressed to the lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt, it\u2019s \u200esaid that \u2018an ugly deed is uglier than anything else but if that ugly deed befalls you, it\u2019s \u200edisgraceful, and those who are our friends and do good deeds will receive more \u200erewards.\u201d \u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n

Ayatollah Namazi stated that there is a commonality between the actions of House of \u200eSaud and some Shi\u2019ahs, \u201cThere is a common ground between the House of Saud and \u200eShi\u2019ahs who work against the Shi\u2019ahs with their behaviour and the result of their \u200eactions is equal.\u201d\u200e<\/span><\/h4>\n
