Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei addressed the nation on the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH].<\/span><\/h3>\n

In his speech, Imam Khamenei slammed the United States as the \u201cjuggernaut of our era\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

His Eminence went on to tackle the issue of insult to Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] warning that, \u201cThere are parties and regimes that support and stand behind the publication of the cartoons insulting the Holy Prophet [PBUH], as the French President has done\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

\u201cSupporting these cartoons is a bad thing that the French government has committed, and this angered the Islamic nation,\u201d the Leader explained.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Imam Khamenei went on to say that, \u201cThe French government links the insulting cartoons with the freedom of expression while it supports terrorist regimes that have killed our leaders and citizens\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

\u201cThe crime of supporting cartoons insulting the Holy Prophet [PBUH] doesn\u2019t differ from that of supporting the brutal and terrorist regimes,\u201d His Eminence added.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Leader further said, \u201cSome Western regimes claim that they are concerned for humanity while they practice brutality towards other civilization\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

However, His Eminence commended on the unity of the Islamic nation which has been clearly demonstrated by the recent events in the Islamic world.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In a related notion, the Imam warned that \u201cNormalization with the Zionists is a bad thing and a result of the lack of unity in the Islamic world,\u201d saying that those \u201cwho normalized with \u2018Israel\u2019 are too little to influence the Palestinian Cause\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In addition, Imam Khamenei said, \u201cThe enemy sought to disperse Muslims because unity is important to protect their societies,\u201d adding that the enemies also \u201centrenched Daesh [Arabic acronym for \u2018ISIS\u2019 \/ \u2018ISIL\u2019] \u2013 which is US made \u2013 among us\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Elsewhere in his speech, the Leader explained, \u201cThe subservient of America in the region provided financial support and weapons to the terrorists\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

His Eminence shed light on the US\u2019s policy in the region, saying, \u201cThe Americans planted terrorists in our region and the Saudi regime provided them with money,\u201d and warning that wherever the US sends its troops, it causes chaos.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Imam gave examples of the chaos the US causes and said, \u201cWherever the Americans go, they create crises, as is the case in Yemen, where KSA is launching its war on the US behalf\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Though, Imam Khamenei said \u201cThe youth of Iraq have prevented America’s influence in their country\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Leader advised, \u201cWe must face global arrogance and not surrender to it. We reject humiliation,\u201d adding that \u201cthey are the ones who started the war on us\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Relatedly, His Eminence tackled the issue of US policy towards Iran, saying that \u201cThe Americans issued resolutions against the Islamic Republic soon after its formation and supported the terrorists against us\u2026 US hostility towards us stems from our rejection to their unjust policies in the region, especially Palestine\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Imam Khamenei said Iran is \u201cnot concerned with the change of names in the US presidential elections, which is considered the most fraudulent; we are concerned with the US politics.\u201d<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Imam slammed the US saying its \u201cregime is suffering from a moral decline, as the Americans themselves say\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

His Eminence advised, \u201cWe must owe real and not an illusory strength to confront various schemes,\u201d explaining that \u201cTehran’s policy towards Washington will not change regardless of who wins the US elections\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

\u201cAddressing crises does not necessarily mean cutting relations. We must accelerate production to face sanctions,\u201d the Leader stated.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Regarding the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Imam Khamenei encouraged an end to, as \u201cit threatens the region\u2019s security,\u201d adding that \u201cAzerbaijan has the right to liberate its occupied lands; and international borders must be respected\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Leader stressed the importance of confronting the terrorist who \u201cwere brought to our\u201d in case they \u201ccaused any threat\u201d. He said, \u201cWe will take the necessary measures\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In conclusion, Imam Khamenei stressed the need to \u201cobtaining the necessary military to maintain the country\u2019s security and protect it from the enemies\u2019 ambitions\u201d.<\/span><\/h4>\n
