TEHRAN, Nov. 24 (MNA) \u2013 Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the collective effort, and innovation are the keys to ward off the impacts of the cruel sanctions against the Iranian nation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“The country’s economic problem is not about not having or not knowing what approach to take. Rather, that which is required is diligence, courage, serious effort, and follow-up,”\u00a0the Leader said while addressing a session of the members of the Supreme Council of Economic Coordination on Tuesday.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He called on the Iranian officials to concentrate efforts on thwarting and overcoming the sanctions instead of seeking their removal, pointing to the unsuccessful outcome of years of negotiations for lifting the sanctions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There are two ways in warding off the impacts of the cruel sanctions, namely “neutralizing and overcoming them” and “lifting them”, he said, adding,\u00a0“Of course, we tried the path of lifting sanctions once and negotiated for several years, but we did not reach a conclusion.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Leader, then, referred to the path of overcoming and nullifying sanctions and making them ineffective, and said, \u201cThis path may have difficulties and problems at the beginning, but it has a happy ending.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf we overcome the sanctions with effort and innovation and protect ourselves against the problems, the other side will see its sanctions ineffective, and will gradually lift the sanctions.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei, elsewhere in his remarks, highlighted the importance of self-reliance and the use of domestic capabilities, instead of hoping for external assistance, saying that\u00a0some are hoping for a change of position from foreign governments that themselves are grappled with their own domestic challenges.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei also referred to recent anti-Iran claims by three European countries and said, \u201dThe situation of the United States is not clear and the Europeans are constantly taking a stand against Iran.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey tell us not to interfere in the region, while they themselves have the falsest interference in the affairs of the regional countries.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He added, \u201cWhile Britain and France have destructive nuclear missiles and Germany is on this path, they tell us not to have missiles.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is none of your concern. You\u2019d better correct yourself first, then\u00a0make comments [about others],\u201d he stressed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Leader reiterated once again reiterated the need to leave trust and hope to foreigners, noting, “If movement and action are on the agenda, things can be done that would benefit the people.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
