TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif lashed out at the US President Donald Trump, saying that he will be fully responsible for any adventurism as he is leaving office.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Zarif blasted Trump\u2019s hollow allegations against Iran, reiterating that he cannot divert attention from his malfeasance during his tenure through publishing of \u201cworthless\u201d photo.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He stressed that the United States has wasted over $7 trillion dollars for warmongering in the region, costing nearly 60,000 American casualties.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Late on Sunday, the Iraqi officials announced that at least three Katyusha rockets had landed within Baghdad\u2019s Green Zone.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The rockets landed close to the US diplomatic mission, causing sirens blaring within the compound without any casualties apart from some material damage.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Trump accused Iran of being behind the recent rocket attack, warning Tehran that he would hold it accountable \u201cif one American is killed\u201d in rocket attacks in Iraq.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In relevant remarks, Zarif blasted US President Donald Trump for raising allegations on Iran’s role in the recent rocket attacks against the country’s embassy in Baghdad.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPutting your own citizens at risk abroad won’t divert attention from catastrophic failures at home,\u201d Zarif wrote on his twitter page on Thursday.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The tweet also incorporated a photo showing Trump\u2019s old tweets back in 2011 in which the US president said “don’t let Obama play the Iran card in order to start a war in order to get elected\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Another tweet by Trump in 2012 said, \u201cI always said @BarackObama will attack Iran, in some form, prior to the election\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
