{"id":23258,"date":"2021-02-07T04:56:41","date_gmt":"2021-02-07T04:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=23258"},"modified":"2021-02-07T04:56:41","modified_gmt":"2021-02-07T04:56:41","slug":"several-countries-requesting-iran-made-coronavirus-vaccine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/several-countries-requesting-iran-made-coronavirus-vaccine\/","title":{"rendered":"Several Countries Requesting Iran-Made Coronavirus Vaccine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead p-2 mt-2\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>TEHRAN (FNA)- A number of countries have already requested to purchase the Iranian COVID-19 vaccine, lawmaker Malek Fazeli said Saturday, adding that the move proves the failure of sanctions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"w-100 body py-3\">\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u201cWorld countries believe in Iran\u2019s know-how and technology in making coronavirus vaccine, and some of them have even asked for buying the vaccine,\u201d Fazeli told to FNA on Saturday, noting, \u201cThis shows that the medical sanctions against Iran have failed to prove meaningful.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u201cWe are duty-bound to enhance the capacity and capability of vaccine production in the country to reach self-sufficiency in the field,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Reports said last week Switzerland is negotiating with Iran to import COVID-19 vaccine as five Iranian companies have registered coronavirus vaccine development projects at the World Health Organization.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Due to the shortage of coronavirus vaccine in Switzerland, the Swiss health ministry is negotiating with non-Western producers, such as Iran and Egypt, as Bern is likely to buy the vaccine from these countries, according to a Swiss daily.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>With regard to the challenges of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines in Europe, the continent and Switzerland are facing serious shortage of the vaccine.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u201cWe have good relations with the Iranian health sector.
