In an earlier statement he said the entity was fighting a battle \u201con two fronts\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, \u201cIsrael\u2019s\u201d president, Reuven Rivlin, said \u201ca civil war [would] be a danger to our existence, more than all the dangers we have from the outside.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More than 400 people have been arrested, and \u201cIsraeli\u201d border police have been redeployed from the occupied West Bank to towns inside \u201cIsrael\u201d. \u201cWe\u2019re in an emergency, the war minister, Benny Gantz, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The opposition leader, Yair Lapid, said there had been a \u201ccomplete loss of control\u201d. He accused Netanyahu of \u201cleading us to anarchy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Lod was closed off from Thursday afternoon, and an overnight curfew imposed.
