Otherwise, his name would not have appeared in the Hadith of the Tablet [5] that was presented to Fatimah (peace be upon her) by the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), nor would Imam Hasan al-\u2018Askari (peace be upon him) have explicitly stated his name when he said to his maidservant: \u201cYou will bear a male child whose name will be Muhammad, and he is the Qa\u2019im after me\u201d [6].<br \/>\nNor would the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) have said: \u201cHis name is my name and his kunyah is my kunyah,\u201d while everyone knows that the Prophet\u2019s name (peace be upon him and his family) is Muhammad.<br \/>\n[5] Kamal al-Din, vol. 1, p. 423.<br \/>\n[6] Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 51, p. 2.<br \/>\nThe Fourth Hadith<br \/>\nImam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) and the Refutation of Some Narrations<br \/>\nAl-Kashshi reported:<br \/>\nAli ibn Muhammad ibn Qutaybah narrated to me, saying: Ibn Shadhan narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Wasiti and Muhammad ibn Yunus narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn Qiyama al-Sufi said:<br \/>\n\u201cI performed Hajj in the year 193 AH, and I asked Abu al-Hasan al-Ridha (peace be upon him). I said: \u2018May I be ransomed for you, what happened to your father?\u2019 He replied: \u2018He passed away as his forefathers passed away.\u2019<br \/>\nI said: \u2018Then what should I do about a hadith that Ya\u2018qub ibn Shu\u2018ayb narrated to me from Abu Basir, that Abu \u2018Abd Allah (peace be upon him) said:<br \/>\nIf someone comes to you telling you that this son of mine has died, has been shrouded, buried, and that they have shaken their hands of the dust of his grave, do not believe him?\u2019<br \/>\nHe said: \u2018Abu Basir has lied; this is not how he narrated it. Rather, he said: If someone comes to you regarding the \u0635\u0627\u062d\u0628 \u0647\u0630\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u0631 (the Master of this Affair).\u2019\u201d [7]\nI say: It is possible that this hadith was falsely attributed to Abu Basir, and that it was fabricated in order to confuse people about the death of Imam al-Kazim, claiming that he was the Qa\u2019im al-Mahdi and that he would return.
