The Sixth Hadith
\nThat al-Mahdi is among those vested with authority (Uli al-Amr) in the verse
\nIt is narrated from Ab\u0101n that he entered upon \u02bfAl\u012b ibn Ab\u012b al-\u1e24asan al-Rid\u0101 (peace be upon him) and said: I asked him about the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
\n\u201cO you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those vested with authority among you.\u201d
\nHe said: \u201cThat is \u02bfAl\u012b ibn Ab\u012b \u1e6c\u0101lib (peace be upon him).\u201d Then he remained silent.
\nWhen his silence lengthened, I said: \u201cThen who?\u201d
\nHe said: \u201cThen al-\u1e24asan.\u201d Then he remained silent.
\nWhen his silence lengthened, I said: \u201cThen who?\u201d
\nHe said: \u201cAl-\u1e24usayn.\u201d
\nI said: \u201cThen who?\u201d
\nHe said: \u201c\u02bfAl\u012b ibn al-\u1e24usayn,\u201d and he remained silent.
\nHe continued to remain silent at the mention of each one until I repeated the question, and he would respond, until he named them all, up to the last of them (peace be upon them). \nThe Seventh Hadith
\nThat the earth is never devoid of Allah\u2019s proof
\nIt is narrated from Ibr\u0101h\u012bm ibn Ab\u012b Ma\u1e25m\u016bd that Imam al-Rid\u0101 (peace be upon him) said:
\n\u201cWe are the proofs of Allah over His creation, His vicegerents among His servants, and the trustees of His secret. We are the word of piety and the firmest handhold. We are Allah\u2019s witnesses and His standards among His creatures. Through us Allah holds the heavens and the earth lest they cease, and through us He sends down rain and spreads mercy. The earth is never devoid of one from among us who stands (as Allah\u2019s proof), whether manifest or concealed. Were it to be without a proof even for a single day, it would surge with its inhabitants as the sea surges with its people.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
