Martyr Hamid Turki Abdul-Hussein lived utterly devoted to his Master, the love of his Master al-Husayn (peace be upon him) surrounding him and filling his entire being. The path of free jihad possessed all his pure facets; thus he lived his life as a combatant, weapon in hand, and was martyred as a Husayni hero, meeting God stained with his pure blood\u2014one of the most splendid and rare stories of heroism.<\/p>\n

\nHe was born in Dhi Qar Governorate\u2014al-Shatrah District\u2014in 1964. He grew up and was raised as a Husayni youth and a steadfast fighter, rejecting all the Yazidi banners that were raised over the land of Iraq. He was known for his constant attendance at mosques and Husayniyyas and for his participation in the revival of Husayni rituals. This love and Husayni loyalty brought him many troubles at the hands of the unjust authority in Baghdad.
\nHe completed his primary and intermediate education at al-Husayniyya School, then was conscripted into military service at a time when the Ba\u2018athist forces were waging their unjust war against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He did not need prolonged deliberation to make his decision; he had vowed not to be an aid to the oppressors nor a pliant tool in their hands\u2014especially in light of the harassment and intelligence surveillance he endured within his unit.
\nAn order was issued for his arrest, but by God\u2019s \u0644\u0637\u0641 and care, and through his intelligence and vigilance, he managed to escape the clutches of the regime\u2019s henchmen. With no option left, he threw himself into the waters of the Shatt al-Arab, as his unit was nearby. It was a grueling journey and an exhausting crossing, after which he reached Iran on 23\/6\/1984, to begin a new phase of his jihadi life\u2014one filled with seriousness, diligence, and perseverance for the sake of God.
\nHe joined the ninth training course of the Badr Forces\u2019 Mujahideen on 27\/7\/1984. After completing it, he joined the Third Battalion and took up station in the Hawizeh Marshes. During this period, his leadership qualities became evident: he possessed solid military aptitude, exceptional courage, precision in executing orders, and sound judgment in the most difficult situations. The foundation of these traits was his absolute faith in God, reliance upon Him, and working to attain His pleasure.
\nHe participated in all the operations carried out by the Mujahideen in the Hawizeh Marshes, displaying rare forms of bravery and a keen commitment to fulfilling his duty. This made him a model of the self-sacrificing fighter who believed in the sanctity of the work he was undertaking. He remained a prominent standard-bearer of his battalion until he concluded his jihadi life in the north of the homeland, advancing toward Ba\u2018athist positions despite the heavy fire directed at him and the difficulty of the terrain and the strength of its fortifications.
\nHe served as the guide who led his group to their objectives at the most formidable Ba\u2018athist sites. He was martyred\u2014may God have mercy on him\u2014on the heights of al-Shahid al-Sadr on 1\/9\/1986, in the epic of Haj Omran, thus sealing a life of migration and jihad in pursuit of the ranks of perfection and the goal every fighter longs for: martyrdom in the path of God.
\nFrom his testament: \u201cI advise all my Mujahid brothers to abandon all disagreements that lead to division, and to remain steadfast upon the path of Imam Khomeini\u2014listening to, accepting, and acting upon his directives.\u201d
