\nFrom the far north of Iran, in the district of Maku \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0627\u0628\u0639\u0629 \u0644\u062a\u0628\u0631\u064a\u0632, to the southernmost area at Makran Port in Chabahar; from the easternmost region in Bam-e Posht, in Saravan (Sistan and Baluchestan Province), to the westernmost area in Avajiq, \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0627\u0628\u0639\u0629 \u0644\u0640 Chaldoran in West Azerbaijan (Urmia) Province\u2014across this vast land, crowds celebrated the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and expressed their support for its Islamic system.
\nYes, the people took to the streets in more than 400 locations across 34 provinces in Iran, raising the Iranian flag and chanting the slogans of the Revolution:
\n\u201cIndependence, Freedom, Islamic Republic\u2026 Allahu Akbar\u2026 Death to America\u2026 Death to Israel\u2026 Death to mercenaries\u2026 Death to rioters.\u201d
\nThey burned American and Israeli flags as a symbolic expression of their deep hostility toward what they consider their two sworn enemies.
\nIran had prepared for the anniversary celebrations and invited various media outlets to attend as the Revolution completed its 47th year. According to Iran\u2019s Channel 6 News Network, more than 770 journalists and photographers from different media organizations responded to the invitation, attending the celebrations to document what was presented as popular support for the Revolution before local and international media lenses.
\nAs the Islamic Revolution enters the dawn of its 47th year, it has adopted an important slogan carrying both moral and political significance:
\n\u201cOne Nation, Working for Iran\u2026 A Powerful Iran, A Victorious Nation.\u201d
\nThe principles of the Islamic Revolution, the article argues, run deeply through the veins of the people, extending into cities and remote villages alike. Various age groups and social segments were present in the demonstrations\u2014from a child holding his mother\u2019s hand, to a young girl walking beside her mother, to a boy beside his father, to youth marching with their peers, and men and women of all ages\u2014even those in their eighties, battling old age, attending in support of the Revolution.
\nOne woman, speaking before a camera and gesturing toward the massive human tide, said in Persian: \u201cThis is what you call a general call,\u201d in what was described as an implicit comparison to a previous call by the Shah\u2019s son for protests against the system, which, according to the article, was answered only by a small armed group that resorted to violence and vandalism.
\nThe streets were filled with vast crowds during the day, in contrast\u2014according to the text\u2014with small masked and armed groups who appeared at night \u201clike bats in the darkness\u201d and disrupted life in some areas. The Revolution, the article states, moved the people from absolute dependency to complete independence, while opponents sought to return Iran to dependency through what it describes as hollow politics and weak cultural trends.
\nThe large public turnout is portrayed as evidence of faith, ideology, and deeply rooted institutions that protect the system. Supporters organized exhibitions highlighting the Revolution\u2019s scientific, cultural, defensive, industrial, and agricultural achievements. They displayed images of those described as martyrs\u2014victims of what the article calls conspiracies by America and Israel during a \u201c12-day war,\u201d including dozens of children\u2014as well as those killed during recent unrest.
\nThe article concludes that this is a powerful message that the Islamic system has broad popular backing, and that its Revolution extends beyond decades into centuries. It describes the Revolution as rooted in the era of Prophethood and inspired by the Husayni uprising, with deep historical foundations. It asserts that the people shaped by it do not rise merely for bread, but for dignity and honor in the face of what it describes as American and Western ambitions. The Revolution, it says, continually renews itself through patience, insight, and steadfastness against the schemes of oppressors, citing the Qur\u2019anic verse: \u201cBut the plot of the wrongdoers is nothing but in error.\u201d<\/p>\n
