## On the Fact that the Earth Is Never Without a Divine Proof (Hujjah)<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is reported from **Abu Ja\u2018far (Imam al\u2011Baqir, peace be upon him)**:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the Qa\u2019im rises in Mecca and intends to go toward Kufa, his caller will announce: \u2018None of you should carry food or drink.\u2019 He will carry with him the stone of Moses son of Imran, which is as heavy as a camel\u2019s load. Whenever they stop at a place, a spring will gush forth from it. Whoever is hungry will be satisfied, and whoever is thirsty will be quenched. It will be their provision until they reach Najaf, near Kufa.\u201d <\/strong>

In **al\u2011Kafi**, it is narrated from **Sa\u2018id al\u2011Samman** who said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI was with Abu \u2018Abd Allah (Imam al\u2011Sadiq, peace be upon him) when two men from the Zaydiyyah entered and said to him: <\/strong>
\n\u2018Is there among you an Imam whose obedience is obligatory?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

He replied: \u2018No.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

They said: \u2018Reliable people have informed us about you\u2014that you give legal opinions and affirm this belief, and that you acknowledge it. They mentioned certain names and said that these are people of piety and diligence who do not lie.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imam al\u2011Sadiq became angry and said: \u2018I did not command them to say this.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the two men saw the anger on his face, they left.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then he said to me: \u2018Do you know these two?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

I said: \u2018Yes, they are from our marketplace. They are from the Zaydiyyah and claim that the sword of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) is with \u2018Abd Allah ibn al\u2011Hasan.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Imam said: \u2018They have lied\u2014may Allah curse them. By Allah, \u2018Abd Allah ibn al\u2011Hasan has never seen it with his own eyes, nor with even one of his eyes, nor has his father seen it\u2014unless he saw it with Ali ibn al\u2011Husayn (peace be upon them). If they are truthful, then what is the mark on its hilt? And what is the sign at the place where it struck?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then he said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Indeed, with me is the sword of the Messenger of Allah. With me are his banner, his armor, his coat of mail, and his helmet. If they are truthful, then what is the sign of the armor of the Messenger of Allah?<\/strong><\/p>\n

With me is the victorious banner of the Messenger of Allah. With me are the tablets of Moses and his staff. With me is the ring of Solomon son of David (peace be upon them). With me is the basin with which Moses used to offer sacrifices. With me is the Name which, when the Messenger of Allah placed it between the Muslims and the polytheists, no arrow from the polytheists could reach the Muslims.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And with me is the equivalent of that which the angels brought.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

He continued:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018The example of the weapon among us is like the Ark among the Children of Israel. Whenever the Ark was found at the door of a household among them, prophethood was granted to them. Likewise, whoever among us possesses the weapon is granted the Imamate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My father wore the armor of the Messenger of Allah and it dragged along the ground. I wore it as well and it was as it was. But when our Qa\u2019im wears it, he will fill it completely, God willing.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
