But I will say briefly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Do not say that the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is betrayal\u2014because it is an honor. Sadly, it is often spread and said that a second marriage is marital betrayal: <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u201cGrave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they say nothing but lies.\u201d <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>(Qur\u2019an, Al\u2011Kahf 18:5)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Do not stray from your religion, and do not utter what is impermissible in following the desires of the self. Do not allow your heart to carry resentment toward the believers: <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u201cAnd do not place in our hearts any rancor toward those who believe.\u201d <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>(Qur\u2019an, Al\u2011Hashr 59:10)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Do not become a free or cheap mouthpiece for those with sharp tongues\u2014those who fish in troubled waters, the meddling women, the gossipers, the envious, and those who harbor ill intentions\u2014who claim they want your \u201cbest interest\u201d! We seek refuge in Allah from the devils of humankind and jinn: <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u201cThey inspire one another with adorned speech as a delusion.\u201d <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>(Qur\u2019an, Al\u2011An\u2018am 6:112)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Be concerned with your husband about his religion, his commitment, and his Hereafter. Do not be selfish.
