**[The Reward of Saying: Sub\u1e25\u0101n All\u0101h, Al\u2011\u1e25amdu lill\u0101h, L\u0101 il\u0101ha ill\u0101 All\u0101h, All\u0101hu Akbar]**<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mu\u1e25ammad ibn al\u2011\u1e24usayn narrated to me, saying: Sa\u02bfd ibn \u02bfAbdull\u0101h narrated to me from A\u1e25mad ibn Mu\u1e25ammad, from al\u2011\u1e24usayn ibn \u02bfAl\u012b ibn Fa\u1e0d\u1e0d\u0101l, from Ab\u016b D\u0101w\u016bd al\u2011Musta\u1e0draq, from Tha\u02bflabah ibn Maym\u016bn, from Y\u016bnus ibn Ya\u02bfq\u016bb, from Ab\u016b \u02bfAbdull\u0101h (peace be upon him), who said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) turned to his companions and said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cTake shields for yourselves.\u201d <\/strong>
\nThey said: \u201cO Messenger of Allah, from an enemy that has approached us?\u201d <\/strong>
\nHe said: \u201cNo, rather from the Fire. Say: *Sub\u1e25\u0101n All\u0101h (Glory be to Allah), Al\u2011\u1e25amdu lill\u0101h (Praise be to Allah), L\u0101 il\u0101ha ill\u0101 All\u0101h (There is no god but Allah), All\u0101hu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest).*\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

My father, may Allah have mercy on him, said: \u02bfAbdull\u0101h ibn Ja\u02bffar al\u2011\u1e24imyar\u012b narrated to me from A\u1e25mad ibn Mu\u1e25ammad, from Mu\u1e25ammad ibn Ism\u0101\u02bf\u012bl ibn Baz\u012b\u02bf, from Man\u1e63\u016br ibn Y\u016bnus, from Ab\u016b Ba\u1e63\u012br, from Ab\u016b \u02bfAbdull\u0101h (peace be upon him), who said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cIncrease in saying *Sub\u1e25\u0101n All\u0101h, Al\u2011\u1e25amdu lill\u0101h, L\u0101 il\u0101ha ill\u0101 All\u0101h, All\u0101hu Akbar*, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection having those that go before them, those behind them, and those that follow them, and they are the enduring righteous deeds.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mu\u1e25ammad ibn \u02bfAl\u012b ibn M\u0101jelawayh narrated to me from his uncle Mu\u1e25ammad ibn Ab\u012b al\u2011Q\u0101sim, from A\u1e25mad ibn Ab\u012b \u02bfAbdull\u0101h, who said: <\/strong>
\nMy father narrated to us from Mu\u1e25ammad ibn Sin\u0101n, from Ab\u016b al\u2011J\u0101r\u016bd, from Ab\u016b Ja\u02bffar (peace be upon him), who said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cWhoever says *Sub\u1e25\u0101n All\u0101h*, Allah plants for him a tree in Paradise. <\/strong>
\nWhoever says *Al\u2011\u1e25amdu lill\u0101h*, Allah plants for him a tree in Paradise. <\/strong>
\nWhoever says *L\u0101 il\u0101ha ill\u0101 All\u0101h*, Allah plants for him a tree in Paradise. <\/strong>
\nWhoever says *All\u0101hu Akbar*, Allah plants for him a tree in Paradise.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man from Quraysh said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cO Messenger of Allah, then our trees in Paradise will be many.\u201d <\/strong>
\nHe said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cYes, but beware lest you send fires upon them and burn them. For Allah the Exalted says:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the same chain of narration, from A\u1e25mad, from his father and Mu\u1e25ammad ibn \u02bf\u012as\u0101, from \u1e62afw\u0101n ibn Ya\u1e25y\u0101, from Ab\u016b Ayy\u016bb al\u2011Khazz\u0101z, from Ab\u016b Ba\u1e63\u012br, from Ab\u016b \u02bfAbdull\u0101h (peace be upon him), who said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to his companions: <\/strong>
\n\u201cTell me, if you gathered all the clothes and utensils you have and placed them one upon another, would you think they could reach the sky?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

They said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cNo, O Messenger of Allah.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cShall I guide you to something whose root is in the earth and whose branch is in the sky?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

They said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cYes, O Messenger of Allah.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said: <\/strong>
\n\u201cWhen one of you finishes the obligatory prayer, let him say thirty times: <\/strong>
\n*Sub\u1e25\u0101n All\u0101h, Al\u2011\u1e25amdu lill\u0101h, L\u0101 il\u0101ha ill\u0101 All\u0101h, All\u0101hu Akbar.*<\/strong><\/p>\n

Their roots are in the earth and their branches are in the sky. They repel destruction, burning, drowning, falling into a well, being eaten by a wild beast, a bad death, and the affliction that descends from the sky upon a servant on that day.
