The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family):** &#8220;I was sent to [teach\/uphold] the noble traits and virtues of character.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**120. He (peace be upon him and his family) also said:** &#8220;I was only sent to perfect the noble traits of character.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**121. He (peace be upon him and his family) also said:** &#8220;I was only sent to perfect good character.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**122. He (peace be upon him and his family) also said:** &#8220;I was only sent to perfect righteous character.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**123. He (peace be upon him and his family) also said:** &#8220;Indeed, Allah the Almighty sent me to perfect noble character and to complete the goodness of actions.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**124. He (peace be upon him and his family) said to Mu&#8217;adh when he sent him to Yemen:** &#8220;O Mu&#8217;adh, teach them the Book of Allah, and refine their manners with righteous character.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**125. Musnad Ibn Hanbal, from Anas:** The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) would not deliver a sermon to us without saying: &#8220;There is no faith for the one who has no trustworthiness, and there is no religion for the one who has no commitment [to his covenant\/promises].&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**126. Imam Zayn al-Abidin (peace be upon him):** The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) would say at the end of his sermon: &#8220;Blessed is the one whose character is pure, whose natural disposition is untainted, whose inner self is righteous, whose outer conduct is good, who spends the surplus of his wealth, withholds the excess of his speech, and treats people with fairness from his own self.&#8221;<\/h5>\n<h5>**127. Al-Ikhtisas, from &#8216;Abd al-Azim, from Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him):** &#8220;O &#8216;Abd al-Azim, convey my greetings to my allies (supporters) and tell them: Do not let Satan have a way over yourselves. Command them to be truthful in speech, to fulfill trusts, to remain silent, to abandon arguing about what does not concern them, to turn towards one another, and to visit one another, for that is a means of drawing near to me. Do not preoccupy yourselves with tearing one another apart, for I have sworn to myself that whoever does that and angers one of my allies, I will call upon Allah to punish him severely in this world, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers.<\/h5>\n<h5>Inform them that Allah has forgiven the righteous among them and pardoned the wrongdoer, except for the one who associates partners with Him, harms one of my allies, or harbors evil towards him; for Allah will not forgive him until he turns back from it. If he turns back, it is well; otherwise, the spirit of faith will be stripped from his heart, he will exit my *Wilayah* (guardianship\/allegiance), and he will have no share in our *Wilayah*.
