Facts Not Previously Reported About the Scholarly and Executive Activities of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei: Part One<\/h4>\n

Mastery of Islamic jurisprudence, proficiency in the principles of jurisprudence and seminary studies, the establishment of academic and research centers, mastery of modern sciences and innovative knowledge, the formulation of major strategic plans in military and jihad-related fields, alongside carrying out foundational activities in various cultural and social matters, while simultaneously establishing networks of charitable organizations\u2014all these are undisclosed aspects of the scholarly and executive life and activities of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei.<\/h4>\n

According to a report by the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them) International News Agency\u2014ABNA\u2014 humility and avoidance of publicity have been among the most prominent characteristics of<\/h4>\n

Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei<\/h4>\n

throughout his nearly fifty-year career in his personal, social, seminary, political, and military life.<\/h4>\n

Indeed, during nearly thirty years of continuous teaching in Islamic seminaries, including twenty years spent teaching advanced kharij courses in jurisprudence and legal principles at the Qom Seminary,<\/h4>\n

he never gave permission for these courses to be publicized, for photographs of their sessions to be published, or for pamphlets and books prepared within these scholarly circles to be published.<\/h4>\n

Over the past twenty years, roughly coinciding with his offering of advanced kharij courses in jurisprudence and legal principles\u2014the highest level of seminary education\u2014<\/h4>\n

and with the establishment of academic centers such as the \u201cHigher School of Jurisprudence and Legal Principles of His Eminence al-Qa’im (Peace Be Upon Him),\u201d<\/h4>\n

the Higher School of Jurisprudence of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (Peace Be Upon Him),<\/h4>\n

the Shams al-Shumus School of Jurisprudence,<\/h4>\n

and the al-Ridha Center for Jurisprudence (Peace Be Upon Him),<\/h4>\n

as well as the establishment of charitable groups serving people in need throughout Iran,<\/h4>\n

in addition to conducting strategic studies and managing special military and jihad-related projects,<\/h4>\n

all of these activities formed part of the scholarly and executive work of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei.<\/h4>\n

During these years, at the request of<\/h4>\n

his martyred father, the eminent scholar Sayyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei,<\/h4>\n

he conducted strategic research on cultural issues, threats and their various dimensions, as well as cultural industries, the resistance economy, communications,<\/h4>\n

and social networks. In carrying out these scholarly activities, he personally studied the latest relevant articles in languages such as English, or requested translations from other languages.<\/h4>\n

The most striking aspect of these activities was the extreme secrecy surrounding these centers and their work. So much so that presidential administrative affairs advisers in some governments were not even aware of his management of these centers.<\/h4>\n

The people in need who were under their care likewise received their services as donations from anonymous benefactors or as living assistance sent from the office of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei,<\/h4>\n

with the result that the name of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, or any reference to him, did not appear in these academic centers or in the provision of social services.<\/h4>\n

In recent years,<\/h4>\n

several scholarly groups from various fields of civilizational sciences met with him,<\/h4>\n

including urban planning, with a focus on Islamic cities and productive cities; innovation and technology; agriculture; food security;<\/h4>\n

and hydroponics (soilless agriculture). They were impressed by the amount of knowledge he possessed in these fields.<\/h4>\n

During these specialized meetings, prominent professors from various academic disciplines spoke of the emergence of a \u201cShaykh Baha’i\u201d in the modern era.<\/h4>\n
