{"id":7412,"date":"2014-01-24T10:30:49","date_gmt":"2014-01-24T10:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=7412"},"modified":"2014-01-25T09:14:53","modified_gmt":"2014-01-25T09:14:53","slug":"mwm-ends-sit-in-victims-to-burry-martyrs-on-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/mwm-ends-sit-in-victims-to-burry-martyrs-on-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"MWM Ends Sit-In; Victims To Burry Martyrs On Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>QUETTA: Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslmeen and families of martyrs have announced to end the sit-in being staged in Quetta and to bury the remains of martyrs on Friday, following the assurances of action from Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan,\u00a0 The Interior and Informati<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">on Ministers flew in to Quetta and assuring the protesters of government action against the criminals, persuaded them to end the p<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">rotest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not allow the situation to go on like this,\u201d said Nisar. \u201cWe have expressed solidarity with the victims and assured them that their demands will be met and due action t<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">aken.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In response to a question about whether the government had a timeframe for the \u2018action\u2019, Nisar said there indeed is a timeframe. He then mentioned the\u00a0meeting\u00a0between top government officials earlier on Thursday, where he said security matters were discussed extensively and the decision taken to put an immediate and complete stop to such attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Despite assurances from t<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">he chief minister, the protesters called upon the federal government to take action against the groups stoking violence in the province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Later on Thursday,\u00a0Federal Ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Pervez Rashid visited the Headquarters of the Army\u2019s Southern Command, reported Radio Pa<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">kistan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>During their visit,\u00a0Commander Southern Command Lt.
