{"id":8096,"date":"2014-03-02T23:00:53","date_gmt":"2014-03-02T23:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/?p=8096"},"modified":"2014-03-02T23:17:57","modified_gmt":"2014-03-02T23:17:57","slug":"monument-for-shaheed-muhammad-baqir-al-sadr-unveiled-in-moscow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilayah.info\/en\/monument-for-shaheed-muhammad-baqir-al-sadr-unveiled-in-moscow\/","title":{"rendered":"Monument for Shaheed Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr unveiled in Moscow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">An unveiling of an honorary monument for the great Iraqi scholar and philosopher, Ayatollah Shaheed Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr, took place at the Moscow State University of International Relations, on Friday 28<\/span><sup style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">th<\/sup><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"> February 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Iraqi Cultural Attache to Russia, Mr. Fouad Serei said in attendance were a number of distinguished Russian cultural figures, academics and politicians; in addition to heads of diplomatic missions from Lebanon, Palestine, the Arab League and representatives from the Russian Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>It was mentioned that preparations for this event have been underway for months in order to recognize the achievements and legacy of this great scholar.<\/p>\n<p>Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr was a high ranking Shia\u00a0scholar, philosopher and ideological founder of the\u00a0Islamic Dawa Party, born in\u00a0Al-Kadhimiya,\u00a0Iraq.
