His eminence stated:\u201dToday Iraq is standing face to face with a real threat from terrorist groups. The terrorists who had attacked Ramadi, Fallujah and Samarra have now moved on to Mosul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe danger of destruction, demolition, genocide and violation of sanctities that occurred in Syria has now encircled Iraq.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Ayatollah explained the responsibility of Muslims towards such a situation: \u201cIt is a religious obligation of every honourable Muslim to help and give towards the resistance, the defence of Islam, Iraq and getting rid of the existential threat which has surrounded this country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ayatollah Mehdi Aasifi finished this segment of his message by stressing the importance of resolving\u00a0 this issue: \u201cReligious scholars, Friday prayer leaders, security forces, respected elders and honourable Muslim youth have a responsibility to get rid of this sedition on their shoulders, and if this issue is not resolved, an even greater corruption will take place on this Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Ayatollah Mehdi Aasifi, speaking about the current situation of Iraq, explained the existential threat the country faces.
