Iraq Voices Reservations on Arab League Statement

The Iraqi foreign ministry on Monday expressed reservations on the final statement issued by the Arab League after the emergency meeting of a number of Arab foreign ministers, rejecting mixing up between the political stances and the bold accusation of supporting terror.

In a statement the Iraqi foreign ministry voiced reservations over a clause condemning Iran’s role in the region and another labeling Hezbollah as “terrorist.”
