Prayers of the Nights and Supplications of the Days in the Month of Ramadan according to Mafātīḥ al-Jinān
Prayer of the First Night:
Four rak‘ahs (two + two).
In each rak‘ah, after Sūrat al-Ḥamd (Al-Fātiḥah) and Sūrat al-Tawḥīd (Al-Ikhlāṣ), recite Al-Ikhlāṣ fifteen times.
Supplication of the First Day:
“O Allah, make my fasting in it the fasting of those who truly fast,
and my standing (in prayer) in it the standing of those who truly stand (in worship).
Awaken me in it from the sleep of the heedless,
grant me my pardon in it, O God of the worlds,
and forgive me, O You who pardon the sinners.”
