Baseej-e-Zainabia Celebrates Nurse Day on the Occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Zainab Al-Kubra (s.a.)

Hawzah News Agency (Ladakh, India) –  On the occasion of the auspicious birth of Lady Zainab Al-Kubra (s.a.), women of Kargil district has celebrated the birth anniversary of Zainab (s.a.) as Nurse Day under the banner of Zainabia Women Welfare Society-Women Wing of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Kargil at Zainabia Convention Hall, Haidery Mohalla.

Islamic World has celebrated the “Day of the Nurse”, to honour the services to humanity of these paramedics, who strive day and night to ensure the recovery of patients suffering from various diseases. But what is the significance of this particular date for nurses. Today is the auspicious day in history when the virtuous lady that nursed Islam back to life was born. She was none other the Heroine of Karbala, Zainab Al-Kubra (s.a.), the granddaughter of Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h.).
