Islamic Ummah must rise up and break its silence over Palestine

RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Quds Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the examples of vice and virtue and said, “Confronting the hegemony of the arrogant powers is the greatest virtue and accepting the hegemony of the arrogant powers is the greatest vice.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Seminary added, “Indifference to the advancement of the enemies is a vice and is considered as accepting the hegemony of the arrogant powers. Also, the creation of dissension in the Islamic ummah, the creation of grounds for the influence of the enemies and submission to the enemies are among the important vices which must be confronted.”
Referring to this weeks’ Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, he said, “Renowned guests from all over the world were invited to this conference and every year this important conference is held in Iran. Unity and solidarity among Muslims are considered serious issues but unfortunately today, due to the self-defeat of some of the heads of Islamic countries in practice, instead of unity, divisions are observed.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri pointed out that the defense of the followers of Islam against the arrogant powers, the necessity of strengthening the dignity of the Islamic ummah and the progress of Islam demonstrate the importance of unity and these issues will depend on the unity of the Muslims.
The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts added that inadequacies and dependencies have slowed down the momentum of Islam and said, “The Islamic world has huge capacities in various aspects that must be used. The enemies recognize the capacities and capabilities of the Islam ummah more than Muslims do. They seek to create divisions and separation in Islam to benefit from their abilities and capital.”
He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the flagship of Islamic unity, said, “Iran has always been the defender of Islamic countries and the country’s record in defending the Islamic ummah is clear to both friends and foes. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] has raised the flag of unity and with the help of the Islamic Resistance Front of Islamic Iran, the terrorists from the Islamic countries were defeated, although, the enemies do not stop plotting.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri condemned the new conspiracy of the global arrogance in announcing al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Zionist regime and added, “The behind-the-scenes support by the leaders of some of Islamic countries and compromise with the Zionist regime gave the President of the United States [Donald Trump] the audacity to declare al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Zionist regime and to transfer their embassy to al-Quds (Jerusalem). The Islamic ummah has been damaged by the betrayal of those who claim to be Muslims.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom emphasized that Muslims should rise up and break their silence and said, “Islamic countries should summon and rebuke the ambassadors of the United States and condemn this hostile move. In the words of some writers and politicians, Trump has lit the fire and in his first step, the United States and the Zionist regime will be burnt. According to the words of the Supreme Leader, Palestine and al-Quds (Jerusalem) will be liberated.”
Referring to the developments in Yemen, he added, “The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia chose one of Ansarullah’s allies, Ali Abdullah Saleh, as the instigator of their sedition in Yemen and with their many promises, they intended to launch a rebellion in Yemen and disarm Ansarullah. These individuals rebelled for a while but after a short while the sedition was suppressed and the instigator of the Saudi-sponsored sedition was killed. Previously Saleh was allied with Ansarullah due to some interests but today, this corrupt root has disappeared and the Yemeni Revolution has became purer and we are hopeful that the final steps will be taken towards victory.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri also referred to the problems faced by the survivors and victims of the November 13th earthquake in the western Iranian province of Kermanshah and said, “The victims of the earthquakes are not living in good conditions and winter has begun. Therefore, the authorities and the people must do all that they can to help the affected people.”
