Leader Warns of ‘Era of Permissibility’ as Region Faces Grave Threats, Calls for Vigilance

News – Yemen: The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi delivered a stark warning in his pre-Ramadan address, asserting that the Islamic nation is confronting an extremely dangerous phase characterized by attempts to impose the “equation of permissibility” (Istibaha) — a condition where US-Israeli aggression against the region’s peoples becomes normalized and accepted.

The Danger of Ignoring Existential Threats

Sayyed Abdulmalik criticized those who seek to ignore the mounting dangers facing the nation, stating: “Many people wish to ignore the risks confronting the nation, but this ignorance is futile. Detachment from major responsibilities and awareness of reality is not beneficial; rather, it is dangerous for them and empowers the enemies against them.”

He emphasized the need for collective awareness, declaring: “We must realize that we are a nation facing dangers from the most spiteful of enemies—the Jews and Zionism with its American, Israeli, and British arms, and those who follow in their orbit.”

The “Equation of Permissibility”

The leader identified a central threat: “Developments revolve around an extremely dangerous point for this nation—the effort to impose the equation of permissibility upon it and to make it acceptable to us.” He warned that accepting this equation leads to the normalization of “all types of crimes that the Israeli enemy practices against peoples in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.”

Detailing the situation in Palestine, Sayyed Abdulmalik stated: “The Israeli enemy continues its violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the greatest Islamic sanctuaries.” He accused the Israeli enemy of seeking “to erase Islamic landmarks in Palestine through operations of destruction and displacement.”

Regarding the West Bank, he asserted: “The enemy seeks to annex the West Bank and end the Palestinian presence there, clearly renouncing all agreements from Oslo and beyond.” He described Israeli practices in the occupied West Bank as encompassing “all types of crimes,” with the enemy “unleashing its gangs and expanding its activities.”

In Gaza, the leader noted that “the Israeli enemy continues killing, and the siege tightens against the Palestinian people,” causing immense suffering. He also condemned the ongoing torture of Palestinian prisoners following legislation permitting their execution.

The leader highlighted a dangerous development: “The Israeli enemy’s movement of traitors and agents in Gaza is a dangerous phenomenon,” noting that “gangs linked to the Israeli enemy are now clearly committing crimes in the Gaza Strip.”

Lebanon and Syria: Aggression Without Boundaries

Turning to Lebanon, Sayyed Abdulmalik revealed alarming practices: “The Israeli enemy’s aggressions in Lebanon have reached the point of spraying farms with toxic pesticides—the height of insolence. What do farms have to do with Hezbollah’s weapons?”

He noted ongoing pressures to disarm Hezbollah while armed groups on the other side receive weapons, exposing the double standard in international approaches.

Regarding Syria, the leader stated simply: “In Syria, the permissibility continues despite the positions of the controlling groups there.”

Double Standards and Shameful Positions

The leader condemned those who ignore Zionist crimes while blaming resistance fighters: “Some shameful positions overlook everything the Zionist enemy practices in the region, yet simultaneously blame the mujahideen in Gaza and Lebanon.”

Iran as the Primary Obstacle to Enemy Projects

In the same address, the leader addressed Zionist-American efforts targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran, framing them as attempts to eliminate the primary obstacle standing before enemy projects in the region.

“The Israeli enemy, in partnership with the American, wants to dominate all our peoples,” Sayyed Abdulmalik explained. “Therefore, its focus on the Islamic Republic comes because it represents the first obstacle before them.”

He praised Iran’s position, stating: “The Iranian stance is a strong stance, a steadfast stance, and the Iranian people’s turnout was important.” He commended what the Islamic Republic provides in confronting the Zionist-American project targeting the Islamic nation.

Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized that “anyone possessing an atom of humanity cannot accept the imposition of permissibility.” He warned of “ongoing American arming of the Israeli enemy as part of preparations for a coming round” of confrontation.

Call for Readiness

The leader renewed his call to raise levels of readiness and vigilance to confront enemy movements, underscoring the importance of preparedness in the face of escalating threats.
