On Thursday, MWM organized a rally against targeted killings in Karachi from Numaish Chowrangi. The participants of the rally staged a sit-in near Shaheen Complex when they were stopped to proceed toward Chief Minister House. All roads leading to the Chief Minister House were blocked by placing containers.

Sindh information minister Sharjeel Memon, special assistant of the chief minister Waqar Mehdi, Karachi commissioner Shoaib Siddiqui and Karachi police chief Ghulam Qadir Thebo held conclusive talks with the MWM leaders including Allama Mukhtar Imami.
