**Revolutionary Guard: Today’s Response Is a Warning… If the Attacks Are Repeated, Our Response Will Be Broader and More Comprehensive**
The Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) responded to what it described as Israel’s violation of the ceasefire and its brutal attacks on Lebanon, which today also targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs.
In a statement issued Sunday evening, June 7, 2026, following the launch of three waves of ballistic missiles toward Israel, the IRGC said: “In response to the extensive crimes committed by the Zionist entity in southern Lebanon, including the killing and widespread displacement of civilians in the areas of Tyre, Nabatieh, and other regions—including the southern suburbs of Beirut—the Aerospace Force of the Guard targeted the ‘Ramat David’ airbase, which served as the launch point for these attacks, with ballistic missiles.”
It added: “Our acceptance of the ceasefire was conditional on a halt to hostilities on all fronts. However, the United States and Israel, as usual, did not abide by their commitments. They continued their attacks and military actions in Lebanon and also violated the ceasefire through repeated actions against Iranian coasts and vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, and the Indian Ocean.”
The IRGC concluded its statement by stressing that “tonight’s operation was a warning, and if these attacks are repeated, the response will be broader in scope and will include all American and Zionist targets in the region.”
